A nice short and easy trail connecting the Westin and the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Did the trail in flip flops although shoes would probably be recommended. Lots of nice views of the cliffs, tide pools, rock formations along the coastline.

Beautiful trail along the coastline! Some parts are a bit rocky and steep so I recommend hiking shoes. It's mostly exposed to the sun with a little shade so wear sunscreen and bring water.

Beautiful trail that will take you between the Westin and Mauna Kea resorts. Lots of big houses to check out and amazing ocean views. A bit challenging in spots, but nothing to bad.

This is just one short segment of the Ala Kahakai Trail. It is probably the prettiest segment because it connects Big Island's two best beaches, Hapuna and Mauna Kea.
