Disappointed…when we reached here, the temple was closed. I really had to use the bathroom (as I’m pregnant) and I had my toddler with me, the chapel door was open so I was going to walk in as a senior elder and sister were walking out. I asked them where the bathroom was and they said… you can’t use it, we don’t let random people come inside… I actually used to be a member of this church, and I came to Hawaii and felt I wanted to come sit near the temple - but the people of this church never fail to disappoint me. For members striving to be Christlike, to show such hostility and inconsideration to a pregnant woman with her child is so disturbing. It’s my first time visiting Hawaii, and this was the only place I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Thanks!

This is the place that you will feel the love from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ the most!!! I love this Heavenly Home! It truly is a place of inspiration, revelation and comfort!!! The outside and inside are beautiful and the Spirit is felt all around! Love it!!

Beautiful temple tucked into a small residential area. For members, make sure to call ahead to make reservations and confirm hours. You are expected to bring your own clothes. Nice way to start a vacation.

Beautiful place, and such kind people. No clothing to rent, but they did let us "borrow" which means they take the clothing home to wash as there isn't a laundry here. We appreciated their generosity!

This is one of the most beautiful temples in the world. They do not have clothes or stuff to rent but can lend a few things if you're missing one or two items. What a wonderful experience here.
