Union County Farmers Market — Attraction in Hayesville

This place is a perfect example of what Farmers' Markets should be! Of course there are plenty of farm fresh fruits and vegetables, but there is also a cafe, live music, handmade goods from jewelry to felted fairy dolls, and homemade foods such as cinnamon dried apples to freshly fried pork rinds, plain or spicy. Definitely not bad, yet not we were looking for nor what we were expecting to find. The dirt parking lot is huge (muddy at places) yet finding a spot may be an issue because of the volume of traffic. And all those people cannot be wrong. Lots of canned goods and articraft, with friendly people selling at affordable prices their produce, yet not the fresh market you will find what you are looking for, just the "catch" of the day. The wooden cheese slicer and charcuterie board guy with the garlic lady, awesome work!
