I would like to start this review by extending a special thank you to Isabella, who made our dining experience at Rib Country BBQ in Blairsville, GA truly exceptional. Isabella's attentive and friendly service added a personal touch to our visit, and we appreciated her kindness throughout our meal.

As a party of four, we embarked on a culinary journey at Rib Country BBQ and were delighted by the flavorful offerings. We decided to begin with a couple of appetizers, namely the 12 Piece Smoked Wings and the Full Size Country-Made Onion Loaf. The smoked wings were a amazing, having a great combination of flavors and perfectly cooked meat. It had been quite some time since I had enjoyed wings of such quality.

The Full Size Country-Made Onion Loaf provided a unique twist to the typical onion rings or blooming onion. It was a delightful surprise. To complement these appetizers, we sampled the homemade ranch sauce. Its remarkable flavor, richness, and creamy texture made it an absolute must-try for any ranch lovers.

Moving on to the main course, our choices included a Premium Aged Ribeye Steak, a Bar-B-Que Beef Brisket Dinner, 1 1/2 Full Racks of Baby Back Ribs and the Mountaineer 1/2 LB Cheeseburger. The ribeye steak was a standout, impressing us with its excellent seasoning, flavor, and the perfect balance between juiciness and tenderness. The accompanying sides of coleslaw and onion rings further elevated the dining experience.

The beef brisket, available in both fatty and lean options, was remarkably tender, showcasing the skillful preparation of the meat. Accompanied by delectable sides of baked beans and sweet potato, it presented a satisfying combination of flavors.

The Full Racks of Baby Back Ribs, featuring just the right amount of sauce, captivated our taste buds with their exceptional taste and tenderness. The Southern Fried Okra on the side provided a crunchy and flavorful accompaniment, particularly when paired with the delectable ranch sauce.

For those seeking a classic burger option, the Mountaineer 1/2 LB Cheeseburger with Fries proved to be a scrumptious choice.

To conclude our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in Homemade Peach Cobblers and a Blackberry Cobbler, all accompanied by a generous scoop of ice cream. These desserts were the perfect finale, showcasing the flavors of fresh, ripe fruit and the comforting warmth of a homemade cobbler.

In summary, Rib Country BBQ in Blairsville, GA, provided us with a memorable dining experience. From the exceptional wings and unique onion loaf to the superbly prepared steaks, brisket, ribs, and burger every dish left a lasting impression. The attentive service from Isabella further enhanced our enjoyment. If you find yourself in Blairsville, make sure to pay a visit to Rib Country BBQ for a truly remarkable...

I would give THIS experience 0 stars if possible, we have eaten here on MANY occasions, and this last time, which was last night was probably the worst experience I've had at restaurant.... We get there at around 6:00 give or take, there were probably 5 tables there one waiting on food most already eating, we order a burger 2 orders of chicken strips, a kids chicken strip, a pork plate, and a pulled pork sandwich. We wait, while we wait a few more tables come in, who were all served their meals before us, we finally ask the waiter if there is an issue. He said he was going to check, then the manager comes out and tells us that she will have our food out within 5 mins, my husband tells her that we have been sitting waiting for 45 mins to an hour, she tells him "it takes time to cook a burger" he is a cook at a different restaurant and at this point he is frustrated because it wasn't even that busy, meanwhile the baby is crying hungry, and we are all getting frustrated. The manager cuts him off while he was trying to talk and ends up walking away....

We decided to wait the 5 mins, when the food comes his plate is cold, fries are cold, my sandwich is cold, my onion rings look awful, my sons cheese burger has no cheese or lettuce on it, the chicken strips were decent, but the kids are so hungry at this point they eat them, i couldn't eat the sandwich, my husband didn't eat his plate...

He asks to talk to the manager again, and she argued with him for almost 10 mins, she took his plate off the bill, but they took it off the table while everyone else was eating what they could, I still had to pay for a sandwich that was left on the table untouched, she took the drinks off the bills, ( i was totally unsure as to why, we were able to drink the drinks) I don't care to pay for anything we ate, i don't think we should have had to pay for what we couldn't.

Working most of my life in customer service I would have gone to the table and asked how i could make their experience better, try to calm the frustration, not argue, or make the situation more hostile.... Sir can i offer you an appetizer or a dessert at the end of your meal for having to wait so long, I am sorry for the wait, can i bring your little one some applesauce to tide him over until the food gets here, ect.... I just think the WHOLE thing was handled poorly....

To add to this the waiter was trying to diffuse the situation while the manager on duty was trying to antagonize the situation, my husband called and spoke to Diane and she was VERY helpful, she was wanting to do whatever she could to fix what happened......

Beef Brisket 😀🙌😎...

Special thanks to Isabella for her exceptional service at Rib Country BBQ in Blairsville, Georgia. During my recent dining experience at this renowned barbecue joint, I had the pleasure of savoring their Premium Aged Ribeye Steak, Beef Brisket, and Ribs. As I was dining alone, Isabella made me feel welcome and ensured that my meal was nothing short of extraordinary.

Let's start with the star of the show: the Premium Aged Ribeye Steak. This melt-in-your-mouth delight was cooked to perfection. The steak was incredibly tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The premium aging process truly shone through, resulting in a remarkably tender and well-marbled piece of meat. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. Each bite was a true delight, and I found myself savoring every morsel of this delectable steak.

Moving on to the Beef Brisket, it was an absolute delight for barbecue enthusiasts. The brisket was cooked low and slow, resulting in a perfect balance of smoky and tender flavors. The meat was moist, succulent, and had a beautiful bark on the outside. The rich and smoky flavor profile was accompanied by a mouthwatering crust, adding a delightful textural contrast to the tender meat. It was clear that Rib Country BBQ knows their way around a smoker, as this Beef Brisket was a true barbecue masterpiece.

Last but certainly not least, their Ribs were nothing short of phenomenal. The meat fell off the bone effortlessly, and the flavors were outstanding. Each bite was a harmony of smoky, tangy, and sweet notes that left me wanting more. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and complemented the meat perfectly. Whether you prefer a saucy or dry-style rib, Rib Country BBQ has you covered, as their options cater to every palate.

In conclusion, Rib Country BBQ in Blairsville, Georgia, exceeded my expectations in every way. The Premium Aged Ribeye Steak was a carnivorous delight, the Beef Brisket was a smoky sensation, and the Ribs were finger-licking good. Special thanks to Isabella for her exceptional service and making me feel at home. Rib Country has some of the nicest people you're ever gonna meet on this Earth. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and from there on you'll want for nothing. The wait staff is young, so they are off to a great start in the hospitality business OR, and this is really important, the folks up in No. Georgia are just that darned nice (I tend to think everyone up there is nice). The ambiance is just like every other rib shack you've been to--old metal signs for tractors on the walls and the like. But, I must complain that is was way too cold in the dining room. We were there on a mid-Summer afternoon and the A/C was cranked way down, I mean near Arctic temps. The tables and seats were clean, as were the bathrooms. The whole place looked well kept. The food was average, or maybe I had my hopes a little high. The pork I had wasn't dry, but neither was it succulent. Usually, this can be countered by a really good sauce, but their sauces were average also. To talk about sauces for a moment, their Sweet & Mild Sauce was mild and not too sweet, but it didn't have a full, robust flavor that compliments the high quality, lean meats they use. The Tangy Mustard Sauce had a little "tang" to it, but lacked the complex vinegar undertones which makes for a really good sauce. The Hot Sauce was a perfect heat-to-flavor ratio, but could have afforded a little more tomato flavor and perhaps a touch of sweetness. Their Firestarter Sauce had a great spiciness to it, but it didn't offer a well-rounded flavor that satisfies. Our teas seemed watered down. I don't always drink sweet tea, except when I eat BBQ. This offering, won't knock your socks off. My side dishes didn't excite me, but neither did they disappoint me. I must say, I really enjoyed the garlic bread. I don't mean that as a consolation--it is an important part of a BBQ meal. I DO recommend Rib Country and their pulled pork plate. Temper your expectations and be prepared for portions that are "just enough."
