Creekside Cottages — Hotel in Hayesville

We stayed in Fradas nest this weekend. It's the first cabin on the right as you pull into the driveway. The setting, while so convenient, is idyllic. A large side yard makes you forget there's convenience of an Aldi immediately across the street. The back yard is my favorite. A beautiful meandering creek runs right outside with a swing for sitting and reading. A fire pit sits directly on the creek, right off the porch to the right. The cottage is adorably decorated, with high end finishes. Well appointed, nothing was missing. We are a family of 4, and the kids shared the upstairs, while my husband and I had plenty of room in the downstairs master. It rained our first night and we used ridge runner service to deliver take out. We got sushi from the Sushi shack on my daughter's recommendation. It was ridiculously good. Rochelle , who owns creekside cottages , is easy to work with, kind, and makes the whole process easy from start to finish. We stayed here to drop our eldest child at Young Harris College. It is a convenient location while dealing with college visits. It's about 10 minutes from the campus. Close by, you'll find Vogel state park, golfing, good food, a quaint downtown and also brasstown bald. On the same road as the cabins, we've discovered a dog park, ice cream and mini golf! We've now visited 4 times . We will continue to visit, as long as the millers will have us. It's got a peaceful, calm vibe that I appreciate. Highly...

My son and I needed a quick and last minute getaway while we were having some work done in our home. This adorable cabin was the perfect place for us to get away for a few days. The decor is absolutely beautiful, no generic cookie cutter cabin bears here, this looks like a layout for a magazine! This cabin had anything we would need for our stay. The owners really go above and beyond with their supplies. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was by far the most well equipped. It even included extra garbage bags, paper towels, fire starter logs and matches - sometimes it really is just the little things that make a difference!

The creek in the back yard is gorgeous and I love the set up of the fire pit and swing! This cabin is not a remote cabin with total seclusion and that was really important to me. I needed something that was easy to access and close to main roads for easier exploring!

We recently completed a week's stay at "The Nook" cottage at Creekside Cottages in Blairsville,Georgia. It was truly a wonderful week! The hosts, Rochelle and Mark, were very thorough in getting my wife and I prepared for the visit. Upon arrival we found the cottage to be charming in a beautiful location just on the edge of Blairsville and next to a peaceful babbling stream where we spent time every afternoon or evening after returning from our explorations. Our hosts were very accommodating with suggestions of points of interest (and there are many) and restaurants. "The Nook" was comfortable exquisitely decorated and had all the amenities needed including an incredibly comfortable bed!
