Slumberland Furniture — Attraction in Hayward

I was very disappointed with they're not revealing that the chair I purchased was faulty. Only stated that a customer brought it back or took it out of the box and didn't like it. When he told me this I believed this. But when he was loading it to put it in our vehicle. He used a screw to somehow get it apart. When we got it home it took about an hour and a half to get it together and it was bent. We are planning on buying more furniture and have purchased several pieces from you in the past and have been very satisfied. However we may have to rethink our next purchase. The store manager/sales person Nathan W. at the Hayward, WI location was great. He spent a lot of time answering my questions. I stopped in the store to look at the recliners I was interested in and he took model #'s of the ones I liked. When I got home I called him several times about the products. The next day I also had to phone him 3-4 times to get all the info. I needed and order the one I wanted. He worked hard for his commission with me. I was disappointed that the products I wanted to buy would take anywhere from 1-4 months to receive. It was the same problem if I ordered the item from the manufacturer's website, so it was not a...

I was impressed with the salesman, Mr. Metheny. He was attentive; our conversation about what I needed was based on my questions, and the options available. He was knowledgeable about his products, warranties, pricing, and discounts. There was no high pressure; just good information. When I'm ready for more furniture, I will look for him at Slumberland Furniture. By the way, I wasn't planning to buy a mattress set today but I believe the information I received today was reliable (and better and more complete than at other stores), and I'm sure I won't find a better salesman to work with/for me.
