I'll never go here again.
My normal pool was closed for remodeling so my cousin suggested this place for our "Cousins Day"....
We had to bring clear bags for our stuff.... Once I paid 26 dollars for myself and my teenager, we go out to the pool only to see that is is closed for maintenance. I was angry, that's something you should tell people before they pay 26 dollars for two people to go swimming on a Sunday.
We used the lazy river and other water things for kids, but man I wanted to swim laps.
I let it go for the sake of the family who came out to spend time.
About 90 mins in the kids start asking for food. We go over to the food stall and they are out of A LOT of things that are on the menu. Okkkkkay I decide to keep it simple 2 hot dogs and 2 lemonade slushies. This food literally takes over 40 minutes because the food line was getting long and there was only 3 people in there working the food stall.
People were getting angry then line was stopped several times so they could "catch up" on orders....one girl behind the counter with a Tie -Dye shirt on put on her backpack and LEFT!!!! I don't know if she came back or not. Once we eat we chatted for a little longer then left.
I cannot express how much I regret going here. The first time Cousins Day wasn't fun in the 5 years we have...
Read moreWonderful outdoor pool! Has an ADA accessible, laned competition pool, starting at 4 feet deep, to swim and dive into. It has a 1 foot deep kiddie pool as well. The main part of the pool is a walk-in depth pool that rises to 3 feet around the edges and includes sprinklers, a water bucket, and lots of fun, splashy areas. Lazy river and water slide included. Plenty of lounge chairs, some covered with umbrellas to get shade. Includes a reasonably priced snack area with a seated table area. Lockers are provided free of charge; bring your own lock. MANY, MANY LIFEGUARDS present and rotated frequently to prevent observation fatigue. Does not allow you to bring in outside food or drink but did have a cooled water bottle dispenser. Of course, restrooms were present... I did not need one, so I didn't check them out personally, but they had large doors to enter the restroom area. Check out the prices on the website. They are similar to other local pools with a senior discount...
Read moreGreat disk golf park here. However, I wouldn't call it a "beginners" course. The first four holes are deep in wooded areas that a fairly steep in slope. The ground is rocky and if your footing isn't steady it can be a little treacherous. With that being said, the first four holes are very technical and are great for learning precision control over your medium range disks as you will be contending with with lots of trees and wooded areas. When you get to hole five the course opens up quite a bit allowing for exercising your gorilla strong arm long distance throws. At the ninth hole it goes back into wooded area where you will be throwing a short distance through somewhat dense trees up quite a steep hill. This is a fantastic course and one I have been to twice and thoroughly enjoy for its complexity and beauty. In the event you are wanting to play a more formal game do beware that there is no par for the nine...
