Howdershell Park — Attraction in Hazelwood

The highlight of this park is the Ninja Warrior course. The park also has two kids playgrounds for different age levels, tennis courts, two softball fields, horseshoe pits, gazebo pavilion, tons of picnic tables and a walking/running path that goes around the whole park. There are restrooms as well along with a large open field between the softball fields.

Love the park overall as it has two playgrounds. One for young kids, the other for 5/6+. It also has a paved trail around the entire park. There are about 2-3 baseball fields and plenty of grass to run around or play catch. On the younger kids playground, however, there are sticks from the trees that always fall and aren't cleaned up. This is a trip hazard, so I take my son to the bigger one and help him get up on things/down some slides. Usually not too overcrowded. Does have a pavilion but not sure...

Hazelwood day was worst ever. Only 4 food trucks. No funnel cakes are cotton candy. High prices on food trucks actives weren't enough no craft venues. Mayor did a terrible job for a very uneventful event. Shamful compared to other cities that I attend. Heck a church in St Charles had games, rides 5 dollar plates of food, funnel cakes live jazz band was 100 percent better than Hazelwood low rent event. Was Shamful will never go again big big...
