Would give zero stars if I could. I, intentionally, will not mention anyone specifically my name because I believe not one single employee makes a company bad. If, however, that one single employee is allowed to continue providing poor customer service with the company’s awareness, then the company itself is to blame for the poor review. Dryer stopped working on Saturday. Called the warranty company on Monday and scheduled a warranty repair visit with Grand Central for Friday. Friday morning and still no word from Grand Central. Finally called them and was told they tried calling the number the warranty company gave them several times to set up an appt but no answer so they wouldn’t be able to make the repairs as promised. Called the warranty company who told me “we sent Grand Central the only number listed on your account” (which was the correct number.) Called Grand Central back and was told that now the issue was the road conditions and they’d have to re-schedule for the following Wednesday. Realizing that Grand Central didn’t have any concern that my 88 year-old mother would be without a washer/dryer for almost 2 weeks, I called a local, REPUTABLE, company to make the repairs. I shared my experience re Grand Central and wasn’t surprised when they told me that they have covered numerous Grand Central service repairs because of similar complaints. At one time, Grand Central had a fabulous reputation regarding both purchasing and service. Not sure what has happened since then but do your research before assuming the past reputation...
Read moreMy mother and I bought a washer and dryer replaced our 14 year old second freezer from Grand Central. They came at about the same time, three years ago. The apartment size stackable washer and dryer required at least seven service calls and we had made many laundromat runs because of the inconvenience of not having a washer and dryer working. One of servicemen who came out to fix the washer and dryer broke a shelf while trying to fix the washer-dryer. I can say one of the sons came out to fix or repair the shelf after the repairman broke it so that was honorable. When they first delivered it we had new floors put in and the new floors were torn up somewhat. They told me it was my fault even though I explain to them that the floors were going in the day before.We bought the extended warranty and I've had to use it several times. After the 18 months of warranty on the freezer, which we've never had to use. The freezer being three years old, DIED! No warranty, no acceptable measures from Grand Central and now we are spending another five to $600 to replace a three-year-old freezer. We always try our best to shop local, especially family businesses. We will not use this facility again. Sadly, I recommend you research carefully before you use Grand...

Mark Bellizia was the contractor who is man who transformed our 42 year old kitchen and bathroom into our dream became reality plus!! Truly Mark is a good man in his work ethic, reliability, craftsmanship, and integrity. In addition to all of this was sharing humorous stories with us added laughter to our day. As each day passed he went above and beyond insuring our every need was met. In addition to Samantha only a phone call away at the store when we needed her assistance.
