Very disappointed leaving my nail appointment. I asked for the second picture: green cat eye French tips with some gold stars and gems. I had a gel-x I wanted soaked off and repeatedly told my nail artist that I didnāt want tips. I repeatedly said I just wanted to do natural nails. She cut off all of my natural nails on one hand before I noticed and then put on an hybrid-gel nail tip even though I said no. Fine, whatever maybe there was a miscommunication and she thought I said I wanted new nails. I was fine with getting the tips, especially since she had already cut off my natural nails. She filed them into almonds when I asked for round, and even worse the pinkies are the only ones that remotely pass as round while the other nails come to a point. Then when she starts the French I ask for a slightly thicker French cause it seemed too thin. She said no, that it was too toned, whatever that meant, but then proceeded to make them super thick without the French shape. It looks like I just dipped the tips of my nails in paint. Finally, after the French was done she said I was finished and I asked what about the designs. The ones on the photo I had pulled out and shown on my phone the entire appointment. I clarified multiple times that I wanted a few gold stars with gems on the nails. I kept repeating that I wanted gold. She put white on it and when I said I didnāt want or like the white she just continued on. I clarified again that I didnāt want one white star on each nail but a few gold ones. I donāt know why she repeatedly didnāt listen to what I wanted but this is what Iām stuck with. Tips that I donāt want, in mismatched shapes, with designs I paid for that I hate because itās not what I asked for. I repeatedly said no to what she was doing, before and during and she ignored me. The appointment I scheduled was only for a gel manicure with designs, supposed to start at $55 before the cost of designs and instead I had to pay over $100. I hate these nails, they were supposed to be for my birthday, which is why I was splurging with the designs and instead I now have to find somewhere else that will listen to what I ask for and pay for an entire new set of nailsā¦again!
UPDATE 5/2: One of the managers contacted me and apologized for the previous appointment. After talking through the ordeal, she offered to have me come in and get them redone with a new nail tech free of charge asap. I saw Tran for the redo and they took great care of me! They were super gently with the drill as my nails were feeling very raw from the previous night and made sure I loved everything before moving onto the next step. When they asked if I wanted to do silver instead of gold because they believed it would look better and I said no I still wanted the gold, they didnāt push and used the gold like I asked. My nails turned out fantastic and Iām very thankful that the opportunity to get the redone was offered. One bad appointment wonāt make me stop coming, Iāll be back for sure! The new nails looks just like the inspo ones, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to see Lynn at the St Rose location but she has changed a lot, no more humility. I had booked a manicure with Lyn and a pedicure with someone else so they could be done at the same time. Lyn was standing outside the salon trying to get in and the alarms were going off when I first got there but I was early so I decided to wait in my car until my appointment time. After checking in, Iām expecting Lyn to approach me and get started but she was so rude, just running around ignoring me and I had to approach her myself. Then she directs me to get a pedicure with a lady different from the one I booked so itās just adding up that Something is up. Lyn then scurries around and Iām asking her to start my manicure because I had booked her for that time and sheās like, oh Iām sorry can I just do this client manicure now because her tech canāt do it and Iāll do yours after your pedicure, this is really quick. So then the new pedicure lady is getting started and sheās making some comment about me being in my car, thatās why Lyn switched to another client and I just told her that regardless I came into the salon at my appointment time and it was so bizarre for her to say because I had never set eyes on her before. Then as sheās working sheās just got this bad energy and I asked her if the tools were sanitized. Well HRH aka the nail tech starts packing up telling me she canāt work this way and I was embarrassed as well as astonished like who does that? So then lo and behold the original nail tech I had booked comes over to finish and sheās as sweet as can be. Iām finished and then I go to Lyn for my nails and she is no where near done, sheās still prepping the nails of this other client. I had enough of those clowns I went to just pay for my pedicure and the manager apologized for the techās unprofessional behavior by offering a discount on my NEXT appointment but I already knew Iād never step foot in that plane again. Come to realize that HRH aka Lyn orchestrated the whole unprofessional and bizarre scenario because she didnāt want me as a client anymore. Why? Because while I was always nice and respectful, Iām picky and assertive, especially when Iām paying top price for services ($70 for refills) but never abusive or mean and I always tipped 30% even though THE SERVICES ARE WAY OVERPRICED. THE SALON MIGHT LOOK NICE BUT THESE PEOPLE DONāT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF WHAT THEY ARE SELLING WHICH IS A SO CALLED LUXURY EXPERIENCE, BECAUSE IF THEY DID THEY WOULD KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. They have absolutely NO class. Lyn and management engage in racist practices at this salon, Iāll never use them again. Feel free to spend your money there but Iāll keep my coins. Oh and my natural nails under the acrylics and gel have NEVER...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent today and decided I'm never returning maybe a customer for over a year and the 1st issue occurred about 3 weeks ago I had an appt with Ivy and Jaden anyone who frequents nail salons know they have an abundance of colors available which makes the choice hard Ivy did the pedi when it was time to choose I asked to see 2 colors when I didn't like how either looked I chose a different color I had Ivy on the previous visit and couldn't decide then so she makes a comment about me giving her a hard time the last time about a color which was actually offensive and untrue although I couldn't choose I was polite and apologetic when I changed my mind I guess the African American customers are viewed as aggressive by her which is laughable because her saying that at all was unprofessional and uncalled for especially since I've never received a 60 minute pedi which is how long the menu states it will be don't rush my service and try to make me look problematic fast forward to today 7/30 I booked an appointment for 6:30pm with Ivy which was actually confirmed to later receive a phone call stating she wouldn't be available for my appointment and was another tech okay I did call back and ask did ivy refuse to service me and was told she was double booked and I know that wasn't the case because if she had another booking how could I book with her at this point none of that matters I went in for my appointment felt the vibe turned around and left the one receptionist isn't always very pleasant she should probably work on that considering it is customer service I don't even know her name which is very telling at this point I'm making a choice to take my hard earned money where it will be appreciated and...
