The Framing Loft — Attraction in Hermitage

My sister and I were back in our hometown for a few days. My sister needed two prints framed, didn’t have time to do it at home, so she brought the prints with us. We stopped in The Framing Loft on Saturday and met Jeff, the owner. My sister asked Jeff if he could rush the job, and he said “no problem”. He then spent well over an hour with my sister, choosing mats and frames for her prints. I browsed the store while they worked on her selections. I bought a fabulous large framed print, unique canvas piece, and two beyond beautiful floral arrangements. Jeff had my sister’s prints done on Monday. My sister and I were also giving our brother’s room a facelift, and we saw a nice canvas piece we thought would look good in his room. Jeff let us borrow it to try it out! At one point we thought about ordering a special canvas print for my brother, but hesitated because we wouldn’t be in town long enough for it to come in for us to hang it. Jeff offered to take it to our brother’s house and hang it for us at no additional cost! Jeff’s shop has beautiful art work and gift items, as well as a huge selection of mats and frames, all at amazingly reasonable prices. This place is a gem and we will be returning on future visits “home”. If you live in the Hermitage area, you are very lucky to have an art shop of this caliber near you. Jeff is the most professional framer around. A thousand times better than any other business including the craft stores. They have made me custom frames for water colors, prints etc, they have framed custom shadow boxes, sports jerseys, lighted poster frames and even restored and reframed a pair of 100+ year old stained glass windows with back lighting. The shop has a gallery and works with local artists to help get their art out there. They have moulding in stock for everyone’s budget! You can spend $10 to hundreds depending on what you want! This shop can do it all, I’d encourage you to stop in and check it out for any and all things you’d like to hang on the wall! Also, he had an extensive collection of local vintage maps and images he can print to size. His large printers can print in ultra high definition. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Framing Loft. Jeff is a true artist and if you let him, he will make your artwork look amazing. I've brought photos, prints and cross stich and they all turned out better than I could have done myself. I trust Jeff to pick what looks best but he also listens to me when I have an idea.
