Plaza Pizza — Restaurant in Pennsylvania

At 4:00 pm today we purchased 2 of the 4 cut specials with a can of pop. Apparently they are quite old and will not even cut with a knife and fork. They are dried-out crusts and the cheese is coagulated so badly that even a few seconds in the microwave will not melt the cheese. We eat there often so I called by phone to ask if they changed the recipe or the crust or if these were old?? The person that answered the phone acted arrogant and said "they might be a little overdone". I told him no they were not over done and he hung up on me... So no resolution. They were not overdone they were OLD plain and simple. We will not return and are tired of supporting local businesses that do not care if you are a customer or not. Additionally, we usually tip well in their counter jar when we eat there. If you don't value your customers in a small town then I don't know what your future will hold for longevity at this location. I don't know if the regular employees are still there or if there were new people or what. The crust was so thin and not raised something went wrong. But their lack of concern is more a problem...

I don't understand why we were treated so poorly today. I see there are similar stories on here. 30 years my Fam and Friends been ordering from Plaza. It's always been consistent. Same sauce... Same crunch... Same cheese. This time guy was mad I paid over the phone for some reason. Undercooked the Pie and purposely put triple cheese on this Pizza. It was a mess. Soaked in grease. I called and politely told guy it was undercooked and over cheesed to the point it's not edible. He said it's normal. Said that's the normal way we cookem here... He offered another pizza. Now we drive back to store and I show him the pizza. He looks at the slop and says... "Yep Perfectly Golden Brown..." It was clearly undercooked. Very easily Determined. Here's the final kicker. Instead of giving me a good pie that was done.... He undercooked the second one to prove to me that's normal and that I was just being a Bad Customer. I decided to put the pie in the oven when I got home and finish cooking it... We will order from somewhere else from now on....

We have been ordering pizza here at least 2 years this experience was completely unacceptable ordered a large pizza well done crispy go to pick it up price went up to al most 24 but understood in these times call Terri tell him this pizza is nothing close to being well done let alone done first i listen to him being very rude with wife saying we were wrong and nothing he can do I get on phone tell him was kind of harsh he says bring back from 25 min away no apology or replacement laughs what is so funny i am 25 min away don't have time or gas 20 min each way and 3 kids so threw it away live and learn i guess.. doubt will ever hear from owner part disturbs us the most ask me to bring it back to what put a pizza back in the oven after touch it just curious how many times they have re heated or made pizzas a little crispier or brown after eat in or take out never going back i dont want a pizza next to another thats been touched...
