Very dissatisfied. Terrible service and very unclean food preparation areas and unsanitary food preparation practices. My wife and I were there just around lunchtime. We stood by ourselves at the register to order for over 5 minutes. No one came to take our order, and the astonishing thing was that there was no one else in line. While waiting we observed two things that made us leave immediately and never want to come back. We looked over the counter in the area where the food is prepared and it looked like a pigsty. Food all over the floor. Then we saw an older worker, while preparing food, turn towards the wall, cover her mouth with her gloved hand, sneeze, and then proceed to finish preparing food without changing her gloves. This was disgusting, absolutely unsanitary, inappropriate, and unacceptable! Who is training these people? I’m reporting this to the local health department, and to the State Department of Agriculture that does the inspections. No way will we ever consider eating again at this location again. Nor do we recommend eating here to anyone unless you wish to risk a serious bout of food poisoning! 👎🤢🤮👎
Gave them a second chance today (4/30/2024) to see if anything had changed. Seemed a bit cleaner, but we stood in front of the register for 10 long minutes, no one else was in line, workers were running around, would not acknowledge us, nor inform us that they would be helping us soon. I would not waste my time patronizing this place. I don’t have a clue as to what their management considers good customer service, but it sure isn’t what you will experience at this...
Read moreWe have been frequent customers to Panera Bread over the years. In the beginning it was well managed and a enjoyable experience to have a meal there. Any more, the service has fallen way off. It's not unusual to find empty coffee and hot water urns. I don't know if management has changed its way of running things or if it is like many fast food restaurants that shifts have been cut back to the point of providing poor customer service? There are three registers at this location. Rarely do you find them all being used. Normally you find only one open and when that person leaves the register everything comes to a complete standstill as far as placing your order. Usually there is someone at the bakery register but if someone orders a special drink the employee who took the order makes the drink and again order taking orders comes to a halt until they finish making the drink. Other employees will walk by the register but they don't wait on the next customer in line. Evidently the sale isn't completed until the customer has the drink in their hand? There was no one else in the place and we were told that since it was almost a half hour to closing time that they would only do a to go order. They also listed off an entire list of things that they were out of, including French baguettes. When asked if they could sub the bread, we were told no that we'd have to take chips. We did so and then asked to add slices of bread to the order, she had to ask if they could do that, it seemed like it should have been a pretty simple task. One of our party ordered a cinnasandwich after asking if they had them, being told yes and then was told they can only make them before 11. They need to hire an older manager that cares about the place and hires people that join them in wanting to improve the service and environment.
