Tourist Center Sr Citizen's — Attraction in Hibbing

I want to give a shout out to the director Melissa Verich for the fantastic job she has done. Melissa is not only easy to get along with, but a fantastic organizer. She has cleaned up the center and opened a beautiful gift shop. This was her dream when she came in a little over a year ago. She was told she could never do it, but look at her go. Melissa got on the phone and called people and most of the work was donated for the new shop. I don’t think the center paid more than $2,000.00 for the whole remodel. Melissa also wrote grants, thanks to her we just received a new industrial stove. I believe this is the first time in many years that the center has all its bills paid on time and they also have a little too spare. Now of course she did not do everything by herself, as we have so many great volunteers that stepped up and helped. Thanks everyone for all you did.
