I have purchased many sets of silverware and over 45 pieces of pottery from Vietri since 1996. I would never recommend this company again. This is why: The silverware Aladdin is defective. The metal flakes off and I swallowed a large piece and one lodged in my finger. I called and spoke with Erica Davis who replaced the brilliant blue however; refused to replace the serving pieces that were costly. She said I could mix them with the new set because I did not want to have any more Aladdin because it is defective, not healthy, and dangerous. Ms. Davis raised her voice at me and began to yell at me and made me feel like she was doing me a big favor when in fact, I have been a very good customer. Then, I asked to speak with her manager and she connected me with a co-worker, Nancy, who treated me just as bad. I held and finally hung up because she spent so long telling Nancy her side of the story. Then, I reached out to the CEO Holly Draughan by telephone, multiple e-mails and left messages at Vietri for her. She did not have the courtesy to return even one of the many messages I let her. They all gang up together but for a CEO to act in this manner. I have never been treated so poorly by any company where I have spent so much money. I have had three sets of Aladdin that have had the same problem. In addition, one of their employees, Tina, told me there were issues with this. When I got angry and asked her to connect me to the CEO, she hung up on me and blocked my phone number. What legitimate company would do that. I have contacted two of the stores that I purchased Vietri from and they were shocked about how I was treated and one has indicated they are no longer selling their products. If you have a problem, you can be assured that Vietri will not help you, your tough luck and upper management does not care. Good luck dealing with Ms. Erica Davis or Ms. Holly Draughan. They are both very unprofessional and do not care about...
Read moreStopped by there this morning because my wife loves and owns a lot of their plates and cups. Had several more picked out and standing at the register to check out. Only the clerk and another customer were in the outlet. The other customer asked the clerk about availability of a platter. The clerk looked it up and said none were in stock but she would go in the warehouse to look. The other customer suggested since she was still shopping that the clerk could look after checking me out since I had already been standing at the register. I thanked the other customer and expecting the clerk to complete my purchase. Much to my surprise the clerk promptly walks back into the warehouse. That is customer service. I’ll never go back to that place ever again. Lost a...
Read moreI spent over $450 on plates from the Outlet in NC and was very careful to ask if the plates would stand up to daily use, how to wash them, etc. I was promised they’d hold up well and if there was any scratches just use barkeepers friend. Unfortunately the plates look so bad after 2 years of use they cannot be displayed at my house. I tried barkeepers friend and it made no difference. I use high quality silverware as well, so it’s not the silverware, it’s the Vietri products. Vietri customer service, while very nice, said they would allow me 50% off at the regular store so essentially I’d pay again for what my experiences tells me is poor quality ceramics that cannot withstand daily use. Please be careful when selecting and know it may...
