This is a gorgeous, historic garden with a variety of unique flowers, shrubs and trees.
The grounds include several 19th century buildings (cook house, law office) a rock garden, extensive woodland plantings, and areas of sunny gardens with unique color and planting schemes. Beautiful trees and trellises. We visited in mid-May and many flowers were in bloom. I’d like to return when the cyclamen are in bloom. The tour was very interesting and the groundskeepers and gardeners are passionate about the preservation and maintenance of this very special garden.
