I am a HUGE fan of Brian Botanicals!!!!! I’ve been buying plants from them for over 10 years. I have always ordered through their website. I live about four hours away. I just got back from visiting the nursery for the first time. It was AWESOME!!!! I’ve always had the best of luck with all of their plants. Over the years I have ordered numerous different plants. The cold hardy tropicals are my favorite. Today was the first time that I’ve actually visited the nursery. Brian and his wife were the nicest people. Brian had given all of his workers the day off due to bad weather. But when I arrived he greeted me with a smile. He walked me around and discussed numerous different plants. Then his wife showed up and she was sweet as could be. Brian helped me decide which plants I needed for a new area that I am working on. He’s so very well and informed and knowledgeable. The only problem I had was choosing from the wide variety of plants!!!! It is still very early in the season. But I will definitely be making a trip back later in the season to see all of the plants in their prime!!!!!! If you’re contemplating ordering plants I can assure you all of their plants have always been successful and you can’t beat the prices!!!!! They are the best!!!!!!!
Thank you so very much Brian!!!!! B. Mitchell (Murfreesboro,TN)

Read moreI really don't know what to say about this place, it's cool but strange and confusing. There are greenhouses full of plants, I wish I would have taken pictures! I don't mean set up for shopping greenhouses, I mean a jungle of tangled plants that you can't see through, crammed from ceiling to floor. I swear some monstera leaves are 3 feet! Some look ok, some look half dead and others are crispy crunchers. There are "do not enter" signs on those greenhouses and the others are set up sporadically all over the property. I couldn't figure out what was for sale and what wasn't. I didn't see prices on any of the plants I did consider purchasing. It seems they have more outdoor plants than indoor. I was looking for philodendrons but only found the giant ones in the "do not enter" places. I will not be going back, partially due to their selection and partially due to my utter confusion as to what is going on there. It looks like they had amazing greenhouses set up, abandoned them for about 20 years, then came back and just went along with business as usual. It's hands down the strangest plant nursery I've...
Read moreI have bought plants in person from Brian and his wife (and dog) but honestly I give this spot 5 stars because you can lose hours there walking around and talking to Brian about plants. Getting invited into a greenhouse so overgrown and lush that you feel like you're not in KY anymore is definitely my vibe. Although I visit other nurseries and shops that sell plants and spend my money there, Brian's Botanicals is an EXPERIENCE... not just a nursery. Also... everything I've ever bought from there is doing just fine thanks to the info I was given when I bought the plants and asked questions. I like that they don't treat me like I must not know anything at all... but don't get annoyed when I DO have a...
