Listen. Little Caesars is a well-known pizza brand. Everyone knows what they are getting when they get food here. It is a quick, mediocre pizza place. We are fine with that, love the zesty cheesy bread.
But when you know you already have mediocrity working against you, you really need to put a lot of time and energy into training your staff to be professional and efficient. I am not sure what your turnover rate is like, but I have seen the middle-aged female manager and nothing else but a bunch of, what seems like, highschoolers, maybe low twenty-somethings. If that's all you hire, you need to know that you need to train them how to do customer service properly.
Every time I go in there, it is some combination of these things: middle aged female manager joking, laughing and having long, drawn out personal conversations with the younger staff in the back, hardly tending the front or the phone; a young boy/man standing in direct sight of the front door who, apparently, is not allowed to greet customers or get their orders or handle anything at the register, he just stands there, or looks at the people waiting, or makes food for the hot and ready or take-out orders (train him to do everything, or at least say hello for Pete's sake); a young worker who is in plain clothes and off the clock with their significant other hanging out in the back and distracting the already barely committed employees from helping customers; the only other people working are in the back most of the time. They hear the doorbell ding and still don't make the waiting customers a priority. Once they do finally come to the front, they act like everything is fine and they haven't kept you waiting. In fact, they are usually a bit dismissive as if they could care less about anything.
It's not that hard to run a place and you seem to have plenty of staff to do all the jobs. These young people are counting on you as their employer to teach them skills they can take to other jobs in the future. They don't need someone to be their friend and allow them to be slackers and develop poor...
Read moreI ordered our food for delivery at 4:35 PM. I had my order in my hands by 5 PM. My pizza was hot. My crazy bread was also hot. My Italian cheese bread was so not. It was cold and hard. I called the store to explain the situation. The "manager" got on the phone never once stating her name. As soon as she heard the ICB was cold she immediately blamed our driver and started speaking over me. I understand stuff happens. I would have taken it up myself and traded it out. She hung up on me when I had to finally raise my voice to get her to be quiet and try to explain how it is a store problem not a delivery problem. Completely unprofessional. I have reported her to corporate. What I didn't tell her is that I spent the day at immediate care with a respiratory tract infection. I was there also with my 80 yr old grandmother who ended up being diagnosed with pneumonia. Then the persons food that was cold and hard is just as sick as the rest of us but is trying not to die from it because of his underlying medical disorder. I was still willing to come back out of the house as sick as I am to make sure my husband got to eat something he felt he could handle. Take some accountability. Don't blame the poor defenseless delivery driver bc I'm positive she didn't drive holding it out the windows so only that part of the...
Read moreIf you order here I hope the overweight lady named Sarah at the register doesn’t serve you or take your order! She is rude and hates her life. Came in to order cheese bread, she rung me up for it and told me she would bring it to my car. So I let her know I would need a marinara sauce for my bread, which usually comes free with a purchase of a bread, just for her to ring me up for the sauce which cost over $1 and the cup wasn’t even full. Less than half full to be exact. Why in the world are y’all being greedy with sauce? Any other little Caesar’s in town will fill the sauce cup completely up and give it you for FREE. when I brought the sauce not being full to her attention, she advised me I could call little Caesar’s 1-800 number. Now how are the people working the hotline supposed to help me with making sure my sauce cup is full? Are they supposed to come to the store and fill it up for me? I said “girl okay” and she was like “that’s it I’m giving you a refund. You can go somewhere else.” And I did gladly! Plenty of other little Caesars in town that will give you a full sauce cup for FREE, no hesitation. Won’t be coming back to this location. And tell Sarah to get her teeth fixed. Her bad breath will scare the customers away before the poor customer service can...
