Cenci Park — Attraction in Hocking Township

Ok, so I want to be honest here. (I want to give this park 5 stars. They have a walking path, working drinking fountain, large picnic area, lake, and a bathroom). But, I've had two sketchy situations happen here in the last few months. I didn't post a review on the other incident, because I figured it was just a one time situation, no biggie. However, I was just there today, in the middle of the day and someone was Clearly on some type of drug looking to do "something." It was broad daylight with lots of people around. Be careful if you go to this park, especially women and elderly. Don't leave valuables visible inside your vehicle and keep your vehicle Locked. Great place to walk around but every fisherman you talk to isn't catching any fish and back in the 70s we put a lot of big catfish in the lake and a lot of crappies and smaller catfish on it and maybe a freeze killed them off but if the city of Lancaster owns this lake then why don't they have them restock the lake and put a length and quantity that you can take home like they do at any lake in Ohio it would be a place during warm weather for kids to go fishing instead of sitting at home playing games and could get some exercise and enjoyment with their parents uncle or even old...

A nice place for a little walk or bike ride during the morning thru early evening. I think picnics are also possible but you are better off going somewhere cleaner.

Cons: Dirty. Drug litter and goose poop mainly The geese are accustomed to human contact. They can be a little oppressive. If I had smaller children I would not feel comfortable letting them walk around on their own with me at the entrance where the geese lay around Shady people...
