6th Street Sales-Wholesale — Attraction in Holly Hill

Six street sales is a restaurant distribution surplus food store. Much of what you will find here is end lots left from distributors to the local restaurants. Like what a big lots was during their early years only this place is just food with some restaurant items...bulk cleaning items, paper items & some glassware too, even commercial coffee makers. One never knows what will be there in that part of the store! Harvey is a nice person. He has a long history In food retail. The place hearkens back to the old mom pop corner grocery stores which dotted urbania before the big box stores moved in. The stock is always changing since it is a surplus outlet good deals on a particular item are gone once stock is depleted. Don't hestitate to buy, cause it might be gone on your next visit. Always ask if you are looking for an item not seen. Many times it will be in the back. Not much organic sold here if you are looking for organic. Remember this is mainstream distributor restaurant surplus foods... Parking lot is adequate..location is less than 1 blk west on 6 street off...

This is one of my favorite places to go for bargain shopping on groceries. They sell to Restaurants, B & B also to the public (lucky us). Do not expect a fancy pants store here they are a well stocked clean warehouse style outlet set up to help you find what you need easily so you can get on with your day. While visiting their store your going to be treated to exceptional deals on meat, vegetables fresh and frozen, frozen fruits, frozen sea food, soups, pastas, flours, coffee's, creams, cheese varieties, canned food, commercial cleaner's, bulk products of plates, cutlery, cups, napkins, wraps, containers. You can even find pails of pickles yum yum, humongous cheese cakes it depends from day - to - day on some item's but if you find that you love bulk shopping, you will never go...

While there is no customer service on the phone -- as they are too busy to deal with the phone, this is a great store for those who desire a no frills store and less costly items. The items they have change from week to week, and it is a small store with many needed items in it. The more one looks in this store, the better it gets. Space is insufficient so they really pack the stuff in. Heavy discounts for expired or near expired items. Those who are expiration savvy will really like this store for its prices. Those looking for customer help and a lot of selection will not like this store. This is like a thrift store for food...but be aware of expirations and your use in...
