🚨 Public Warning – The Townline (Daytona / Holly Hill Border)

Locals, please double-check your bank and credit card statements if you’ve been to The Townline recently.

We were charged multiple times for a single visit back in September, and smaller duplicate amounts showed up after the fact — we initially let it slide. This past Tuesday, our total bill was $55.25, and I left a $20 tip. When the charge posted, I discovered they had added a “1” in front of the 20, turning it into a $120 tip — an extra $100 I never authorized.

I reached out to the manager, Tim Faulkner, who never returned my first message. When I finally got a response after following up, he was unwilling to help and told me to go ahead and file a report.

Just putting this out there so others are aware — check your accounts and receipts if you’ve visited The Townline.

Update! The "owner" has responded. That’s interesting — because the story keeps changing. I’ve now spoken with your staff or manager three different times, and each time it’s a new version. Not once until now has anyone mentioned “damage” or someone “crawling onto a bar.” The first employee I spoke with was apologetic and even implied this happens often. The manager never returned my call, and when I finally reached him, his explanation changed again.

So now I’m confused — was the supposed $120 tip because...
