I stopped in here one morning after I had dropped my car off up the street at the mechanic. While waiting on my Uber to pick me up I decided to impulse buy some breakfast for my family and I. I ordered 4 separate plates. I got the classic Locomoco. A Denver omelette. A mini breakfast plate (1 meat, 2 scoop rice, & egg of your choice.) And for myself, I ordered their “famous” fried rice omelette (at the time of ordering I couldn’t help but wonder WHO exactly dubbed this said fried rice omelette to be of celebrity quality? So many questions haha 😛)
Service was quick! I had my food in under 20 minutes. The amount of food you get for the price is great. I was able to eat my fried rice omelette for breakfast and then enjoyed the rest of it for lunch later in the day. Portions are heavy- all of the To-go containers were packed with food.
The two ladies whom were working in the joint were very friendly. The one working the cash register was especially sweet. She made it a point to make sure my food was packed up very well as I had mentioned to her I was waiting on an Uber ride- so she took care to make sure my food would make it home safe through transport and that there wouldn’t be any chance of spills or a mess made in the Uber. She also made nice conversation with me as I stood and waited for my ride- very nice lady.
There is a small area on the left side of the building where you may sit down indoors and eat your food, or you can do take out like I did. There is on site parking; maybe like 6 spaces. There is additional street parking in the area though if those spaces were to be full.
This was my first time ever trying this place, but I will for sure be a loyal customer from here on out. The place does not look like much from the street, but I promise you the food is delicious.
I feel like KC Lunch & Deli is...
Read moreI usually get take out, occasionally dine in. Love this little mom & pop restaurant. I've had a handful of things off their menu and it doesn't disappoint. My go to is the spicy pork, and sometimes it's not as spicy as like it, which is understandable because I have a high tolerance for spice. The ladies that take my order are always very patient and kind while I try to decide what to eat. Portions are generous and prices are what you expect to pay in the area. This is more traditional tasting of Korean food that I'm used to, but also offers more local food. The garlic chicken is SO CRISPY AND DELICIOUS. And the rice? So good. They don't use your cheap rice you'll see at some of the restaurants in the area. Great gloss to it.
The ladies also don't mind adjusting entrees due to dietary restrictions, or if want to try something a little different (this usually comes at an additional cost cause I'm adding things).
Cupbaps usually come with the egg over easy, but I usually ask for it to be over hard.
Their Mac salad is a bit on the sweeter side but I love the additional crunch of the onion/carrot bits in it. At least, I think it's onion.
They've got a little dining area next door too if you want to dine in. Would recommend calling in your order cause sometimes they can...
Read moreShould be zero stars!! Hands down the absolute WORST place to go!!! This place is a joke and should be closed PERMANENTLY!!! We ordered our food (@1:38pm), paid, waited 30 min. for them to cook it, and as soon as we sat down to eat, we were told to leave. AFTER we received our food, the employee told us they were closed already and wanted to go home, she told us to take our food and eat somewhere else because they closed at 2pm. She was so rude, save yourself the time and money! Food is disgusting, something that should go in a troph! Probably best we didn't eat there, public restrooms are cleaner than their dining area! Smelled like urine, and as we left we noticed flies in their kitchen. Threw the food out!! Thier name is KC's Best but they should be called...
