The Hopatcong Observatory is one of the secret places for any lover of astronomy. It offers an opportunity to view the wonders of the sky, such as the phases of the Moon, the Great Red Spot of Jupiter, and the stunning rings of Saturn in great detail.
In my visit, I felt that the staff lacked in-depth knowledge. Although enthusiasm was in plenty, the finer details on the subject of celestial phenomena were alien to them. So, I undertook explaining to fellow visitors on concepts of the motion of celestial bodies, gravitational waves, and properties of binary stars.
