Stopped to try this new place and got 2 Peruvian dishes from their menu. I can honestly say both dishes did not have any Peruvian flavors. The Bistec a lo pobre had Mexican seasoning on the steak and french fries felt refried. The ceviche had chunks of celery all over and had a strange after taste with very little lemon juice in it. I did ask if the dishes were authentic Peruvian and was informed everyone there is Mexican but a Peruvian cook taught them how to make the dishes. Food lacked flavor and is in much need of improvement. I will definitely try to stop here again and try their mexican menu and update my score based on their mexican menu. As far as Peruvian food goes I rather make the trip down to Dover and stop at any Peruvian...
Read moreThis is a great place and find for us. Tacos el pastor was great, and my steak burrito was also good. Although, it wasn't really steak, seems more like barbacoa. Could do without the bland white rice and pinto beans, but great fresh and flavorable ingredients otherwise. Given how awful the Chester Chipotle has been, I guess we will come here instead.
One test of customer service was coming in last night for to-go order within 30 min or so of closing on a Sat night. I wouldn't really want to do this to any retailer, and the fact that the staff was so nice and prepared the food with care really meant a lot to us. Please support...
Read moreThis place is incredible. We usually get chorizo, steak, pork or chicken tacos (4 tacos per order). Their beef enchiladas are great (4 enchiladas per order). They have traditional ceviche, tortas, and more. The rice and beans that accompany the burritos and enchiladas are always warm and soft. I never get hard rice from this place. The verde sauce is delicious as well as their hot sauce. It's not as hot as I thought it might be but it does have a nice kick to it. The flavors of this place are phenomenal. If you're in the area, you have to try this Mexican restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. Grab a mandarin flavored...
