I just had to reach out on Google and share my delightful experience at Chapala 4, the newest addition to the Chapala family. As someone who has been going to Chapala 3 since they opened, I can confidently say that Chapala 4 has exceeded my expectations, leaving me 100% satisfied. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. The ambiance was inviting and had a modern twist, while still maintaining the authentic Mexican feel that I love about Chapala. The attention to detail in the decor truly made me feel like I was being transported to the heart of Mexico. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Chapala 4 is diverse and offers a wide range of options to suit every palate. However, what truly stood out for me was the Lava bowls. Not only do they offer a multilevel flavor experience, but they are also incredibly generous in portion size. I was thrilled to discover that one bowl could easily feed four people! Very disappointed in Chápala 4 especially because I was a big fan of Chápala 3. Maybe yesterday was just a bad day, and they were understaffed. But we had at least 5 different employees serve us yesterday, the first person sat us, he also took our drink order. But we only got 1 of the drinks, a second person female took our food order, but she took my drink order a second time. A third person brought the food out, the steak tacos (my first bite was too salty).. i had to send them back, the drink tasted like rubbing alcohol, i sent that back. A 4th person switched my drink and sent in a different food order. (This is who I think was the manager) a 5th person brought us water. No1 ever came to bring the check, we had to walk upfront to pay. We left a courtesy tip but really unsure who the tip was for. As we were leaving we noticed the 1 guy who sat us, and took the drink order and made the guac was behind the bar along with the 4th guy who helped correct my order. Maybe it was a rough Friday. But maybe in that case, hold ppl upfront for a 10-15 min wait next time, rather than seating the whole restaurant and not enough servers or...

My wife, daughter and myself went out for a early dinner at 5ish. We all order our food that came out quickly. But after we got our food, we both felt like we had been forgotten. We didn't see our waitress until we were done. Before that I had asked for a glass of water and didn't get until 10 mins after I had asked. I also asked for hot sauce for my food which that I had never got at all. When we finally saw our waitress come over and we asked for the bill we also place a order of chursso togo. Those took like 15mins to get, at that time my daughter was getting angry and wanted to go home. Then when I saw the bill I was questioning why is there a $2.46 charge for something that should not be there, my wife looked at me and said just paid it and we won't come back. Also throughout our dinner that we where eating, we where getting waitress and waiters bring food or drinks that wasn't ours at all, one order was just as we sat down to look at the menus.
