This was a little gem — the shows were curated very nicely and the work was very good. There is parking (DIRECTLY) across the street in that large lot. Only looked like a few spots. Just loop around if you’ve passed it and don’t bother asking anyone working as a lot attendant (if there’s an event going on) where the museum parking is. We had one parking lot attendant try to get $40 from us just for asking where the museum parking was (other entrance of the same lot). Needless to say this didn’t work out for her. And it closes at five. I'm not sure about weekends, but I basically only go there when I happen to be at UH for something. It would be great if it could get the attention...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem on the University of Houston campus. A friend invited me to his senior art exhibit, and I was blown away by the experience. The exhibit showcased not only his incredible work but also that of other featured artists. The pieces were breathtaking, each displaying unique styles and perspectives. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of black artists and their captivating pieces. The exhibit was interactive and immersive, with the artworks expertly curated to complement each other without overshadowing anyone’s work. It was a truly beautiful and...
