$10 for the world’s plainest bagel. I have visited the past 2 days and I order a bagel with extra plain cream cheese. Today I noticed that my bill was almost $11. I checked my receipt and “1 bagel with cream cheese” is $3.59 which is right. Then I see “1 add on Einstein” for $4.69 which is more than the entree. There’s no way extra cream cheese should be that much. Especially when you’re serving broke college students.

Honestly, it isn't the greatest breakfast-ish place on campus but it's not horrific.... I got a cookie though that was a bit sketchy, I honestly don't know if it's the microwave that made it like it is or if it was raw. All I know is that it was gooey and I ate it with a fork... I'd recommend using some other heating equipment other than a microwave (maybe a catering air fryer?)

The past few times I've been there the service had been downright intolerable. The staff is disrespectful, both to the customers and to eachother. The work environment they've fostered here has led to them being miserable and projecting their frustration onto their customers. There was a man behind the cashier gaslighting the customer infront of me that they didn't have something that they did infact have and her order was already being taken care of by other staff. She legit saw them grab the bagel she asked for, and then the cashier proceeded to do the same to me. It's not the first time communication has been an issue since they do not seem to want to listen to the customer at all. They truly make you feel small and like you don't want to be there.

I'm a manager that consistently emphasizes good customer service and virtually everyone here including the managers need to be retrained or they just really shouldn't be In a high stress job. I understand wholeheartedly that customers are hard to deal with, especially during rush hour, but at the end of the day customer service is part of the job. There is zero reason to take out your frustration on a person who was being...

Came in 1/17 at 12:20. Guy at the counter very rudely berated me before I could even get to the counter. Then as I got to the counter He acted not only as if I couldn’t speak English, but implied I was so dumb that I didn’t know I was at a place to get food.

All of this because I stuttered literally once at the start of my order.

Not sure if was a race thing or if he just treats everyone that way but it was 100% unacceptable.

As I said the guy was berating me before I got to the counter to order, I get to the counter & say “I’ll take a” & the worker interprets me & goes off.

“What you don’t speak English? This is a food shop(motioning hands like he’s eating) ARE YOU GONNA ORDER OR NOT?”

Then as I’m looking at him in disbelief he lays in again

“this is a FOOD SHOP! do you understand? Are you gonna order food? Do you even speak English? Are you just gonna stand their and look stupid?

Finally i turned around and walked out.

Besides the point but a note for the business

it’s literally my first day at UH, your employee lost you what would have been a 4 year long customer on the first day, before he could even...

Is there something about working here that makes you hate your life or something? Every time I come here I greet the employees with a smile and a “hello” and I’m lucky to get any type of acknowledgment back. The young Indian girl had the most miserable look on her face when I approached the counter for her to ring me up. Is it that much of an inconvenience to return the politeness to a customer? So incredibly rude. Not to mention they are constantly out of different bagels and spreads. I know some people are very rude to service workers but when I walk in acting friendly and politely acknowledge an employee it leaves me blown away when it is not...
