We love Asiatown Tours! My students and I were awarded a tour to Asia Town with Asiatown Tours as our guide. This was one of the best experiences. Ms. Podell, our guide was knowledge, friendly and fun. My students and I learned so much about the customs, rituals, and traditions. Our family style Dim Sum lunch was delicious as was the boba tea. We were able to try foods we had not had before and loved it all. It was such an incredible experience I am hoping to take future classes on this tour. I also would recommend taking this tour with a group of friends. It is money well spent and you won't regret it. You can't go wrong with Asiatown Tours!

I was pleasantly surpised! We ate at a great restaurant - the place was packed so it was wonderful that we were able to walk right in. Got a tour around H-Mart. Although I shop there frequently, it was insightful to follow an expert on ingredients and Asian food recipes. Finally we wrapped up the night at a popular dessert cafe. Meeting other fellow foodies and exchanging stories were reminiscent of my traveling days - crossing paths with people whom you may have never met otherwise. The team, Cathy, Luis and Judy made the dinner experience truly worthwhile!! Thank you!

We had an amazing time. The Houston Asiatown tours is a great way to learn about Asia and its many cultures. The temple was very interesting. The cuisine at the Ocean Palace was delicious and plentiful. Thanks to our wonderful tour guide Kathy who went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful time. Thanks again from the Kingwood Women's Club.

Of all the many outings the MD Anderson Retirees Association has offered, the Houston Asiatown tour was the easiest to plan, thanks to Cathy Podell and her incredible connections. Within a few hours of making contact with her organization, we chose one of several interesting options, and had a full itinerary in place. Houston Asiatown is so large and diverse, it can be overwhelming to decide how to spend your time there. By the end of the day, we visited a beautiful temple and learned about the traditions, beliefs and community it serves; saw and heard the story of our local Vietnam War Memorial; enjoyed a delicious dim sum meal, sharing tables with HPD officers serving the area; roamed through an amazing Asian supermarket; and ended the day at a very special bakery and coffee shop. We even left with a list of other restaurants for future visits, and I think most of us will...

We had the best time ever with Cathy with Houston Asiatown Tours. She and her crew were so helpful, fun and informative. We had a group of 56 Senior Citizens with MidCoast Health System Senior TREK Group and everyone enjoyed the day. We visited temples and monuments and learned so much; had the biggest lunch ever and learned of so many cool new recipes; and the grocery store was beyond amazing; and ending the day with sweet treats at the bakery. A full day of Asian Inspired experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime! Thanks for everything, it was definitely 5 stars in our books! Donna Mikeska, Coordinator of MidCoast Health System Senior TREK, El...
