I drove 1 hour to get to the temple and happened to reach 5 mins late to their 7 pm closing time. 7 pm is an extremely inconvenient time considering most people get out of work by 5-530 and takes a while to drive through the Houston traffic if you're driving from the suburbs.
The priest was extremely rude and not at all concerned with our effort to get there. After explaining that we had driven an hour and I was there to pray for my mother's anniversary, he let us peek through the locked windows. SO DISRESPECTFUL!
The temple looked nice and clean but I dont expect to be treated this way at a place of worship.
Jainism is know for kindness and empathy but this experience was completely opposite that.
Please fix it as we need to make it a place where people can come together and not avoid it due to a bad experience...
