Awful customer service...only after they got our money of course! Very disappointed! *To your reply: Now I see why you were so rude and unprofessional on the phone. You ASSUMED that I was calling to try to return the dress. First of all...I have enough common sense to know that an altered dress would not be able to be returned. Second of all...I see you did your homework and looked up our records, so you should have noted that her prom is in 2 weeks. Therefore, common sense should have told you, there is NO WAY she could get another dress and altered in time. So YOUR assumptions have lost what was going to be a very loyal customer. I was trying to tell you that we had been to other stores before yours and I was trying to CLARIFY your policies. I openly admitted that I could not remember. I did not LIE...I told you what I THOUGHT we saw or was told about the dress. I THOUGHT I remembered seeing that limited edition tag on the dress, or that the lady told us there weren't many of them. Again, we looked at so many dresses...I could be mistaken. That, sir, is called a misunderstanding, not a LIE! Either way, it was completely beside the point. I was calling to alert you that another store had it...not knowing if you have agreements with other locations. She loved the dress and still does. Dissapointed that someone else had it, but didn't want to return it. Shame on you for your accusations, but thank you for proving my point with your pathetic excuse of an apology. Maybe next time a customer calls with a concern you might want to try listening instead of constantly interrupting and yelling over them...

I feel so guilty for leaving this review so late. If I could give this store 100 stars, I would. I want to share a true story that speaks volumes about their incredible service.

The night of my daughter’s prom was fast approaching, and for various reasons, her dress wasn’t ready. I drove her to this area in a last-minute scramble to find a dress. We visited every prom dress store but couldn’t find the right one—either the prices were too high or she didn’t like the styles. We did find one we both liked at a reasonable price, but the tailor couldn’t alter it due to a power outage caused by a storm the day before, which had left many places without electricity.

We started our search at Elegant Formals, where we found a dress we loved, but it was way too big and couldn’t be altered. The owner understood how urgent the situation was for us. After visiting every other store, we were feeling hopeless and decided to return to Elegant Formals one last time. This time, with only the light from our phone flashlights, we discovered a beautiful dress within our budget. However, it still needed alterations, and there were only three hours left before the prom started.

Understanding our desperation, the owner went out and bought a generator just for us. He altered the dress in a dimly lit office, finishing it in an hour. Definitely would recommend - We walked in with little to no expectation and the lady helped us find the perfect dress for our event. There were lots of options in various colors, materials, and styles which helped us pick the right outfit. The owner is also the tailor in the store who will help make any alterations to the dress. He is very engaging and offers his own advice as to what cuts, styles, and accessories will go best with the dress. The price is affordable for the quality and wonderful service that you get in comparison to big-box stores. I just finished wearing the dress for approximately 8 hours for my party and it was very durable and comfortable-- the sparkles did not shed and it was supportive & fit...
