I went to the Pender Bridge grand opening as an outing with my family. It’s very pretty already, and all the grass hasn’t even started growing yet. It’s going to be beautiful when everything grows up. I seriously wonder if there will be alligators in the premises if it ever floods and the land bridge becomes a retention point. I mean that’s what it’s meant to be if it’s going to be a prairie. Most certainly animals will wash into the prairie as displaced critters during the flood, and the same way we get gators in Richmond when they get washed out of the Gulf of Mexico out of Galveston way, more than likely, we will see critters, washed up and land right in the Land bridge/prairie. It’s going to be an interesting place to go. I also got a ticket for parking because I forgot to pay for parking lesson learned. Still a great overall experience. Lots of families attended and it was an overall festive family like atmosphere. I hope they keep security at a maximum. five stars. Highly recommend. I will be returning many...

These bridges take the park to an entirely new level, both literally and metaphorically. The only thing I can't understand is why the paths are so absurdly meandering. If the purpose of a bridge is to serve as a means to getting from one side to the other, then maybe don't subject everyone to endless obligatory roundabouts and switchbacks. I foresee a worn out dirt footpath in this...

We saw bees, butterflies, birds, ducks,...
