Serena Oaks Apartments — Attraction in Houston

Don’t even bother calling the number for “customer service” them jokers do not answer no call and when they do it’s them hanging up or being rude over y'all having to do a job that’s included in the rent that goes up annually. It’s ridiculous how many times I called that 855 number and no one answered and when I did get a voice it was rude and unwilling to help hell for that matter know what property you live on to even have a dog gone emergency maintenance. Y’all need to shut the hotline down and call it Cold Service and not customer service. Bunch of clowns!

Update: I dropped off my money order. No one was at the desk. So I laid the FILLED out money order on the desk and proceeded to walk out. No big deal right?! Especially no receptionist was at the desk!! I walked to my car and next thing I know I’m being yelled by a woman who didn’t bother to read the money order, bc it has to be filled out in order to leave it on a desk where no one was sitting. Should I have left it on the floor or went and searched for someone who’s supposed to be sitting at the desk to greet people for whatever their needs are? She’s yelling from the door of the office all the things that were in writing on the money order. I see they closed the review section down unless it’s a good review. So I added to this one to let others know. The current staff is rude and doesn’t bother reading what they suggest you fill out. I’ve never had any staff be rude to me especially yell from a doorway to an office where you’re supposed to be professional. I’m not saying leaving the money order on the desk was correct but I’m also not about to go walking through an office and I’m a stranger to these people, but yelling and being rude doesn’t add up. Let me tell you about this property

If you are thinking about moving here don't even think twice they might have changed the name of the apartments for the bennett at cityview but its still a cityview property. I have lived over here for almost I want to say two years my first year it wasn't a issue. Then my apartment got broken into not once but twice and couldn't get the police department out here until two hours after it happened. The apartment people can't do nothing for you once your home gets broken into they just want you to finish your lease regardless of if you don't feel safe. There maintenance men take forever to come fix something if its not life threatening. Don't ever think about moving over here or if you do decide to move over here make sure everything works and is replaced before you move your things inside. Get renters insurance and park your car where you can see it because people do break into cars over here since theres no security. Set up some type of home security system because no one cares about what happens to you but you. And just know when it rains over here it does flood and they say they fixed the issue but they dont or they fix it...

I have had a roach infestation for the longest time. We had a work order submitted since January 13,2025 and still has not been addressed. Multiple things are not working since we did the walkthroigh inspection when we first got our lease back in March 2024. I also got my vehicle towed today. I explained to management how Sandy, a previous agent they had here, explained to me that if the parking spots had no visible numbers on the concrete, that we could all park on said spot. Now my vehicle was towed and had to pay over $300 to get it out of tow yard. Been parking there since i got the lease and this was never addressed to ne by tenants or management. The solution for refunding only half of the $300 is a joke. I am getting the short end of the stick for something a former agent told me i could do. Parking here is also very limited and a tight squeeze. Both my vehicles have scratches everywhere from all the door dings. These spots are too tight. I will be looking else where to live. Even breaking the lease. Please reconsider your options when renting at this location. The constant issues here are not worth what...
