Love this park! Never too busy, but biggest downside is that people need to clean up after their dogs. The playground looks quite unique and really fun for kids. Good sized path circling the woods and I love that the turtles in the pond always come up to you to say hi.
6l24l2022 update: they are undergoing expansion & 'restoration' .. meaning they have killed many established trees & displaced the natural wildlife that forms there ( especially the ephemeral swamp that grew in the back). I hope the deer, armadillos, turtles, cranes, fish, native wildflower fields & wild lotus🪷 are able to stick around even after the concrete is poured for the unnecessary trail loop addition. I wish they had not already clear cut the woods, but I am holding onto some glimmer of hope for the future of the animals that have made the park...

Read moreI visited for the first time today and I really enjoyed. There's plenty of nature for your dogs to run around. The pond was full of turtles. There is a small playground for the little ones. Also there are bathrooms on site and they were clean with toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. I didn't see any water fountains so be sure to bring water with you. There's a side concrete trail that goes in a simple circle surrounded by trees. Along that trail there are benches you can rest on. This is definitely a place to come and relax either alone or with company....
