I was first introduced to Jan Karon and the Mitford series in 1997 when I was pregnant with my second child and have been a fan ever since. I always wanted to visit Blowing Rock since Mitford is based on it. The museum was a short drive from Blowing Rock. Very interesting museum and an excellent gift shop.

What a marvelous gem! Not only is the museum amazing, but the museum team is kind, helpful, and beyond delightful! I was there during their first annual Get Lit! literary festival and it was so well planned and executed. I highly recommend costing the museum and definitely visiting during one of their special events. Go...
