I like the pool and all the life guards do a great job. Well, most of them, except for the one really thin female with short blood hair that was flirting with a male life guard inside the consetion stand. She was ignoring me when I wanted to ask about a rain check when it was clearly thundering and lighting at 2pm and the pool had just opened st 1 pm.After I ask three times, she finally got the answer from the older male life guard. He did not speak up either to begin with. They said the manager told them to wait until three to close or decide to let swimmers back in the pool. After 3pm no rain checks are issued! How convenunite! My children and I felt like we should have gotten a rain check this particular day. We had not been there but an hour and I paid for 2 adults and 4 children! That is $5.00 an adult and $4.00 per child total $26.00. So, I guess this is how to do hard working...

Turned off slide because life guard (Christy) stated to another customer that because I had to go into the section where you come down off the slide to get my nephew who was going under unable to get himself to the rope to me so she walked over not trying to get him so I did, and immediately I got back across the rope out of the way but because of that she turned slide off and NO ONE THE REST OF THE DAY WAS ABLE TO SLIDE WHICH I FELT WAS VERY VERY VERY UNFAIR!!!!! NO WARNING WAS GIVEN JUST CUT OFF AND NO EXPLANATION EXCEPT I HEARD THIS FROM ANOTHER PERSON AT THE POOL THAT ASK WHY!!! I THINK IF SHE DIDN'T HAVE PATIENCE TO DO HER JOB OR SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DO HER JOB THAT DAY BECAUSE SHE WENT AND SIT IN THE SNACK BAR AREA SHE NEEDED TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WORK DOING BECAUSE WHEN PEOPLE PAY TO COME THERE THAT'S ONE OF THE PERKS AND...

Waste of money! So, I know that they can’t control the weather but they should have a better policy. Some friends and myself went to the pool and spent $60 just to get in. As soon as we got in the gate an unexpected storm popped up! We waited around for a little bit to see if it would pass. After about an hour of waiting we decided it wasn’t clearing off any time soon and they were asking people to wait in their car. We asked about a refund since we never even touched the water and was told no. No pool pass for another day or anything! I’m not one to waste money and this is absolutely ridiculous! I will continue to drive 25 minutes to the pool in Valdese even though I live 5 minutes from the...

I brought my 3boys and my nephew here only because it's 15 dollars a person to get in at koolpark. Which is outrageous to me, but I am so glad we decided to go to Redwood instead because we had an amazing time there! The best thing, is that it's ONLY 5 BUCKS A PERSON!!! Also they are more equipped to entertain toddlers, with the very shallow entrance and 3 fountain/sprinklers. The water slides are better than the one at koolpark as well. Needless to say, our family had a great time.

It's only $5 per person to get in and swim all day. Can't bring your own cooler in with food and drinks, I heard from a friend. They don't really have many options of snacks and beverages but what they do have pieces of candy and Iceys and drinks for reasonable prices. When I went at the end of June there slide was shut down for some reason but they had a diving board. It wasn't too crowded and it's a pretty good sized pool with different spots with different depths.
