The Local Bean — Restaurant in Hudson

Coffee is one of my necessities in life. I have been to several different coffee shops in the area and out of town. Some big franchises such as Starbucks and Joe mugs. However, in my opinion The Local Bean is the best coffee shop ever. First of all the coffee taste is always great. I’ve been to some coffee shops where they change employees and each one makes the coffee different, but here they always make it great every time. Second, the prices are very reasonable and the cheapest around. Whenever I come in to get coffee I don’t have to worry about emptying my wallet. Next, I also love how they always provide friendly customer service to anyone that comes in, whether It be a regular or a new customer. Lastly, I love the atmosphere that this coffee shop provides. During school time, I love to do my homework in here because it is a relaxing place to do it. I also love the events they put on for local sellers and open mic night is one of my favorites. It was my first time going here and never in my life have not been greeted at a coffee shop. I tried to say hi and not a single one of the six baristas said hi to me. I was trying to see the menu and not one word was said to me. As I tell the cashier what coffee I want she's staring into oblivion and then puts my order in and doesn't say a word to me. I then asked if they had a punch card or something for rewards and nothing was said to me still. They make my order and don't even say like have a good day or anything. Very strange. And on top of that I could not find a place to sit down because it seemed the whole place of people knew each other but for customers I guess. Seemed like the whole place was having a Bible study. We’ll, I’m not going to really mess up their almost perfect rating with my comment, but I did want to inform people who might be hoping for a treat along with their coffee that the only treat that was there when I went (Saturday at 1:00) was ice cream. Looking at the pictures for the shop, I thought I’d be able to get some sort of pastry. I actually drove 20 minutes for this! Maybe they were all out, but 1:00 on a Saturday seems a bit early to me to be out. Plus, I don’t think this should be all in the pics if it won’t be available.
