This is a very important exhibit. It should be a top priority. This last time I visited the bear area seemed to be bleak. One bear was pacing in a small area and two others were sitting staring into space. They had added some sea otters to the exhibit (separate from the Polar Bears). They were far off in the submerged viewing area. It was clear what they were. We were looking for the seals but had no information on where they went. Someone had thrown some thick liquid on the inner surface of the acrylic viewing tube. There wasn't anything to view in the tube tank. Not...

This spot is the closest Shushi place near my house. My wife is alergic to seafood, so I visited alone, this time I ate-in. Very pleasantly surprised. Comfortable, stylish but not pretentious place. The food was great. Try the octopus salad and Octopus Sashimi. All Sushimi fish were fresh and crisp. A very underrated Japanese restaurant. If you are in Detroit Metro and like Japanese food, come on up to Novi. We have more than 10 superb Japanese or Japanese/Korean...

A darling bear is living here. The zoo is improving with alot of new additions while holding childhood memories. Everyone should think about giving them a donation. No polar bears. No bears of any kind out or in the buildings. Didn't see any elephants. Area that I don't usually care for because I'm more interested in seeing the animals out and about but the amphibian of the alligators and snakes and those creatures. That was nice to see in the peacocks and the hundred flamingos. The peacocks were walking right up to us and just walking on the same sidewalk. Everybody else was walking.

Updated 11/20. No more seals at all and they're not coming back. Love going through here on every trip to the zoo. The opportunity for up close underwater photos of the seals as well as the polar bears is fantastic. Recently (June through August 2018) it had a refresh/remodel of concrete and paint, and all the glass was polished. Disappointed that one of the seals (Keenak) was sent away, and isn't coming back.
