Our bed frame had issues with connections, the delivery gentlemen that came out were helpful and attempted to fix the issue to no avail. Called dogtown, and they mentioned swapping out the frame for another which we were fine with. Seemed all well and good until they scheduled the delivery for Friday from 4:00-6:00. I did not receive a text until 6:30 that they were on their way, with no prior notice of them being late, we had already left the house for the night.
I called dogtown again to reschedule and let them know the situation, the rep mentioned a rescheduling fee, to which I told her I was not going to pay as the delivery was an hour later than the latest time-frame given, and I asked to speak with a manager.
The manager is why I give dogtown a one star review and will never use their services again and recommend anyone I know to not shop here. The manager, Ashley, immediately got on the phone raising her voice with a confrontational attitude before I even explained the situation saying that the delivery service is separate from dogtown and that the fee is through them and I HAVE to pay it. Once I was able to talk she seemed to calm after I gave my side of the story but did not apologize for her conduct. Read moreOrdered a couch from this location. I was told that it would take two weeks to receive it. In all actuality it took 3 weeks in order to receive it. When I contacted the location the gentleman told me they received it the night before (25th). I called on the 26th and inquired about the furniture. I was told it wouldn't be delivered until the 1st because the truck isn't delivering in my location till them. A delivery fee was paid. I inquired about the window frame in which the delivery would be made. The gentleman informed me I would receive a text 24 hrs before delivery. I asked the gentlemen if wasn't available in that particular timeframe could I reschedule. I was told no. I had to reschedule 36 hrs in advance. So I questioned why wasn't the confirmation text sent out 36 hrs before hand so I can reschedule if need be. He got frustrated and transferred me to another employee which basically stated she would put on my account an early morning delivery. My thing is if I paid for delivery I should receive my items as soon as possible. Not another 7 days because ur truck cannot make a 30 minute trip to my house. If I was told upfront about this I wouldn't have been uptight, but I was told I should receive It in 2 weeks. Needless to say im real sketchy about spending my money with them again. He was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable; all the qualities that puts one at ease when making a major purchase. He helped put my order together very efficiently for a complete new bedroom set. I had picked the exact same set out at a different store and saved $1500 by purchasing here instead!! A couple of days later I called him to see if I could add a mattress and box springs to the order. Austin came to the rescue once again and over the phone helped me pick out exactly what I needed and he know what would work with my new bed. I had been to 5 other stores before coming here and not one store had anything I liked in stock and ready to be delivered in a timely matter. Other stores had an 8-16 week waiting time before they could get anything to me. Austin was quickly able to tell me what was in stock and ready to deliver and I will have my complete new set up all in one delivery with 11 days of purchasing!
