I signed up for their fruit CSA this year and I am HIGHLY disappointed in the quality of products. The strawberries and peaches they deliver each time are always rotten (see pictures) and they tend to add 2-3 bananas to the basket as well which are clearly from the store as they have the barcode on it. I signed up for the CSA to support local farmers, not products bought from the store and resold.

Produce was great. Wish the guy running the cash register was a little more personable. He got kind of irritated when I asked for a receipt. It was also a little strange the total I paid 14.67 didnt match the receipt he gave me for 12.27 (not sure what that was about, but I wasn't gonna argue over 2 bucks). Cantaloupe and watermelon were huge.

One of the best sugar baby watermelons I ever had. I only gave it four stars because the price wasn't great but fair for the most part. I think the second location they have is supposed to have better prices though. Again, I can't overstate how good this sugar baby watermelon was. 💙😋

Clean, small and quaint. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and their cakes they buy at the Amish Farmers Market is sinfully scrumptious! Fresh churned butter, jellies, juices, pickled and several natural healthy sweet treats to choose from. Prices a reasonable and for those Huntsvillians who receive vouchers, they are accepted here. So you can feed your babies healthy organic foods. I was a little disappointed that the eggs were not fresh from the Amish Farmers Market like the other items. However, if you'd like to know where you can get grain fed, free roaming chicken eggs that were naturally fertilized the old fashioned way,.where the yolk is beautifully orange and tastes out of this world, Just message me. They are a bit pricey at around $5 a dozen, but well worth it if you're eating a fried, boiled or poached egg and not wasting such a treat to put in a cake where the taste is masked through other ingredients like sugar! lol! . It is not a grocery store, so business would not be taken away from this wonderful place and it certainly is not my intention. Just some people really are looking for the very best to nourish their bodies...

The place is clean (a rarity in such places) and the produce is fresh and clean. They buy most of it from the Amish in east Tennessee and yes they DO mark it up. You have the option to make the 6 hour drive over there and get it yourself (I looked it up on Google Map, decided the price was just fine). I was glad to get quality produce at the price I paid, not cheap, not horrible. Anytime you deal with fresh produce there are going to be things that slip through so if you get 1 apple/grapefruit/etc and form an opinion you have cheated yourself, about the same thing as writing a review because you walked away without a receipt and THEN claimed you paid too much (gee, whose fault is that?). Bottom line: I come for fresh produce and THAT is what I get, not always perfect but I examine all my produce before I buy it so I usually don't get surprised. I love the place, but your mileage my vary depending on your own actions (or...

I visited this place for the first time the other day... I was pleased by the selection offered but the girl working the cash register was rude and seemed annoyed to be dealing with people. The mini pecan pie I purchased had bits of glass in it... no, I'm not kidding... even so, I came back a few days later looking for Christmas presents for my family... the Christmas event was over by 3pm... and the figurines they had for sale... were broken. The wreaths, poinsettias, and crosses were overpriced... Aside from the candy, I see no point in coming back. Maybe hire some people that like working with the public and stay open a little later...? I came out ready to buy and nothing was left. I don't think we...
