This is a great little pet-friendly park in Huntsville. It’s not as grand as Big Spring Park, but it offers a really nice walking path with benches, pavilions, and two lovely ponds. The paths are very easy for walking and would easily accommodate someone of limited mobility. Several people were fishing and enjoying the shade offered by the pavilions. There are beautiful Mountain View’s and across the street is the greenway path, making for a nice excursion. You’ll enjoy watching ducks, geese, and turtles through the park. There is also a convenient, free parking lot, which is always nice. I definitely...

Love this park, just don't listen to Google on how to get here. Maps sends me to a dead end in a nearby neighborhood. Take Carl T Jones to Four Mile Post and go right. You'll see it on your right just a bit down.

Lots of ducks and geese and a few cranes. I've seen people fishing, and I think there's turtles in the water but not sure.

It's pretty quiet and peaceful with three ponds, two covered picnic areas, and lots of benches set around the walking trail. Love taking my daughter here for a...

Great place for family outings or dog-walking. Fishing or duck-watching by the lakes, walking/biking/running/scootering on the surrounding greenways. Nice shady trees from which to hang hammocks. Fun walking across rocks in the creek. Roomy pavilions with large tables for picnics or birthday parties. We moms especially like that we can see kids from all points on the greenways around the lakes, so they can ride freely while we...

Beautiful, but it shouldn't be considered a trail. It’s too short! Only 0.8 miles, but it shows as a trail in traiLink. On the other hand, walking around the open space, park, Lake, scenery, and wild ducks was refreshing. We walked around the lake 3 times, which was 4 miles. Good when you are in a hurry and don't want to drive far to exercise.
