Super nice staff, BUT . . . . . we were referred to Infinity by a friend of my husband. She knows the owner and told us how good they had been with her business. It took me hours, but we logged each and every coin we had, separated into separate plastic bags with a label of how many coins, by date and make of coins and gave them a copy of our log sheet too. We took our coins to them in April, 2025. The nice little gal that waited on us did her thing of separating them into different piles. Another staff member came over and thanked us for bringing the coins in all separated and labeled. She told us that it would make the appraisal much easier and faster and that it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. We told her we would be in town for the day and can come back for which she said no, it won't be done today. On our invoice, it said possible 1-2 months. Well, June came and went and nothing from Infinity. So my husband called and spoke to someone who told him that they had not started on our coins yet, but that they would get right on it and give us a call. Two weeks passed and no phone calls. So he called again early this week and staff person said nothing had been done yet, they were backed up and they would get right on it and call us. As of today, July 10, no phone call. We went to Infinity today and talked to the nice little gal who initially helped us and she informed us that the fellow working on the appraisal was almost finished. I asked her how far along is he if it is almost done, but she couldn't tell me. Said she had to contact him and would let us know. My Husband was wanting to take coins right then and there, but I talked to her and said we are going to breakfast and have a few errands to run and please call us and let us know if it will be done today and if not today, how soon, wanting to give them another chance. A little over two hours later, and again no phone call, we went back to Infinity. Spoke with another pleasant staff member who told us we could get an estimate of how much had been done. She also told us that their policy was to charge for work that had been done, but due to our problems we have had, there would be no charge. Why on earth would we pay for a job not completed! With that, we told her we are taking our coins and we will be looking for another dealer. A very frustrating...
Read moreI have been going to Infinity Coins now for awhile. The store staff is knowledgeable about the types of products they have on hand. They also always remember my preferences as a customer. I only go in every couple of months, but they always remember the types of coins I would be interested in looking at while I am in the store. I usually go in when a particular item interests me in on their website. The website is well maintained and the pictures are high quality. I get a good feel for what the coins actually look like from the pictures. The prices are fair and when I have felt the price was a little higher than I wanted to pay, Kevin has been willing to negotiate fairly with me.
I have also sold coins to the shop. The price I was offered for my coins was fair.
I am happy to see a wide variety of coins from high end to entry level. If you have an interest in coins, they will have something for you within your budget. It is nice to have a store like this in our area. Coin shops are limited in Idaho. This is the best one I have been to in this state. I also enjoy the coin history lessons I am given when I show interest in a particular coin. I love to learn more about the...
Read moreBidders/buyers Beware !! Kevin and Scott are deceptive online. The whatnot app specifically. Don't ever join one of their streams and make an accidental bid. Thousands of dollars in support over a short period of time gets dismissed over an accidental bid through the app. 300 bucks for 1 ounce of silver. Makes me wonder about alot...I Asked to cancel like a cordial buyer would. They basically responded and said no you're stuck and keeping your money And we will send what we feel is right. Then proceeded to send items they deemed as appropriate For the bid. I would never treat a client of mine this way , let alone a repeat and supportive buyer. I did back track on messages and allowed them to bully me and send me what they felt was appropriate. Due to the terms and conditions of the app. There Is little to no recourse for them otherwise. So I took what I could and will warn others. Also there have been plenty misrepresentation of item value online as well. I'm a victim of it and still continued to support giving the benefit of a doubt. What a shame.
