Reynal2 mexican food — Restaurant in Idaho Falls

Coming from someone who is Hispanic, this is some of the better Mexican food around town that you’ll find. My go to here are the quesabirrias. They don’t disappoint. Period. This place definitely does not jip you on the meat. They make sure to load the quesabirrias up with lots of birria. Off the top of my head I can’t remember the price but I believe the quesabirrias plate is around $13 or so.

I think one of the distinguishing reasons Reynal2 is a great choice to go to is due to their unlimited salsa bar that they have available in their dine-in area. All their salsas are pretty good but their green avocado salsa & the regular green salsa are both great!

Update: I am adding this after 6 months but this is my most frequented Mexican food place in town mainly because they are just so reliable, haven’t let me down and have great food. Their business hours are amazing and they stay open super late which is nice for everyone since most places close early around here. (Especially with me being from California and being used to everything staying open late). I love everything I’ve tried here but as of more recent I have really enjoyed the Quesadilla de Mar y Tierra (which is HUGE and comes with chicken, shrimp & carne asada inside with all the cheese). Also, if you don’t want to eat too much just grab however many tacos you can put down. They’re really big, stuffed with a lot of meat and have double tortillas. Anyway, i highly recommend this place. I just tried this place for the first time. I ordered the Reynaldo. It’s chicken, carne asada and shrimp with rice and beans with a huge tortilla for $13. It was excellent! I mean excellent! They weren’t skimpy with the shrimp and it was a lot of food. Lots of steak and chicken. This is definitely my new favorite Mexican dish in town. I will be back! For sure. Definitely a fair price for the food I got. I think I counted about 7 shrimp. Again, this was excellent! Rice and beans tasted fresh. The proteins were cooked perfect. I hate dry chicken and it was not dry. Very good. I will definitely be back! They gave me the biggest grilled jalapeño I’ve ever seen too. 😍

Reviewing for a friend.. He showed up 11 0 5, he was told you, couldn't dine in only takeout. Then, while he was waiting for an uber, six people showed up, and they had the pleasure of dining in.
