Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral — Attraction in Indianapolis

On vacation with my friends and attended mass on Christmas Eve. The people were so joyful and kind. We are out of Towners and felt very welcomed. The point of interest is the architecture. Designed as a classical revival style cathedral this place looks are pleasing. High ceilings without typical arches that I see in many gothic style churches, this church is unique. The fountain at the front of the church for holy water is spectacular. Just to bless yourself with this holy water is enough. My first visit was on a weekday, partly because Google Maps said this location was open at that time. The doors were locked, so I pushed the buzzer button for the rectory. Soon, a certain Emily opened the door, and asked if I was there for the tour. I responded that I was just interested in looking inside briefly; then she gave me a tour anyway. She also let me spend some time in the chapel alone. Emily was very kind to me.
