Maclin's Open Air Markets — Attraction in Indio

It was my first time to enter this flea market and it was alright. I had no idea what to expect. There was mostly newer Chinese import stuff, but there was also a,handful of vendors selling used items like used power tools and used hand tools, mowers and electrical equipment, etc. I found the one lady selling better quality jade jewelry interesting and was unexpected to find. The booth selling pet products at good prices was also cool. Lots of food truck type food there too! I would have loved it to be more like the Rose Bowl swap meet, which was way better and much larger and with a much larger quality used section of antiques and furniture that this swap meet was...

I went to visit one of my buddies who works as a vendor for drones. I walked around and was impressed with the layout and variety of selections. Many types of cuisines and products. There is a yellow truck that sells fresh made fruit drinks that are frozen into a sort of a slushy that I recommend people to visit. They have a couple fruit beverages as well as mocha and horchata. Alright folks, here's the thing- you do want to arrive before 6pm is, for parking. But for the most part everyone seems to be setting up & what not about 4-5pm. And considering it does run til 10pm, the fresh evening is best. The summer Saturday's coming up, I definitely recommend this place. Roasted peanuts scent in the air and random array of vendors from the butt lifting jeans to good ol thrifting...
