As I walk in, the smell of testosterone, sweaty college dudebro, and progress slaps me harder than a wet sack of mice. The Power Café to the right looks like an innocent little smoothie shop, but the sandwiches and smoothies contained within could singlehandedly rebuild the economy. Prices are decent considering the infinite amount of things there is to do in this workout paradise. There is a recreational pool and a workout pool. There is an indoor track where people run. There are treadmills where people also run but don't actually move. There are so many weight lifting machines I got lost in the maze and had to call my mom crying to come find me. Been lifting here since high school, and it’s a very spacious gym with a lot of equipment and basically almost anything a weightlifter could ask for. The only thing I have to cry about is it’s $90/month, so I might have to switch gyms soon since my wallet won’t be able to justify that price for too much longer. If you’re a local teenager though, the reduced price of $30/month is definitely worth it and I would highly...
