Irmo Community Park — Attraction in Irmo

Read End for warning Great park to take your kids, multiple jungle gyms and multiple bathrooms. An amplitheater, Pluss walking track. The park is well maintained, but at it's inseption, a dead tree limb fell and fatally struck a young boy. Let us not forget 3year old Jacoby Latte, whom is with God now and forever, but please be aware of the limbs, here and at other parks As I will reiterate again, it is now very, very well maintained. There's a highten sence of awareness.

PS. They should rename the park "Jacoby Latte Park". I am seeing to make...

This park is amazing. I grew up in this neighborhood, but we only had the older Irmo Park back then. We've moved away, but we always stop by this park with our daughter when were visiting family in Irmo. The park is well designed with adjoining play areas for kids in multiple age groups. There is a swing set right in between the toddler play area and one of the larger play structures, so it's easy to push one child on a swing while keeping an eye on another child playing nearby. My only wish is that the park had more than one...

Really like this park, my nephews had a blast!!! I love that it's loaded with cameras,the multiple restrooms,water fountains, grills, resting areas & play stations. The park has an amphitheater, open fields and nice paths for walking or running. My only small complaint was that the water to the sinks in the bathroom was off so couldn't wash my hands, and was wanting to refill my bottle of water but the water to the water fountains were off also. Again minor complaints bc I think it was more so for covid...
