Had nice reviews so tried for a picnic with my kids. Couldn’t find anywhere to sit so we sat in the amphitheater on the hard steps, had to put a towel down because it had rained the night before, no biggie, but then 10 mins into our lunch, the sprinklers came on. Mind you, the ground was already very wet. And I too became very wet scrambling to get all our stuff! 2 employees sat nearby in a utility vehicle and just.. sat there. Felt like a mean joke honestly. Got lots of mosquito bites. I tried to make the best of it so we tried to sit in the bench swing and it is the strangest shaped bench swing, weirdly uncomfortable. Read moreYour beautiful mature community park, perfect for book reading and hanging out with a loved one or friends. Not specifically kid friendly no playground and there is an open access pond and stream kids can run straight through however there are picnic tables and rules posted for safety reasons. It's perfect for weddings and special gatherings under the Irmo White Oak or under the center Gazebo at the top of the man-made stream leading to the small koi/turtle pond full of minos. The park is visually pleasing and feels safe surrounded by Irmo PD. The restrooms are currently N/A due to renovations, definitely would visit again if I need to escape the hussle and bustle of the...

I limped over to a nearby overflowing trash can, and propped my injured foot up to survey the damage. At this point, the maggots from the rotting food attacked the open wound on my foot. I turned to run, but they were all over my foot.....I ran anyway, and they began falling off. First one, then another and another, then they all fell off. I stopped running and again propped my foot up on a nearby garbage can.....but it too was infested with maggots.....maggots, MAGGOTS,...
