Ate here tonight. Open table has this rated pretty high& I have no idea why. The photos of the food are good on Google, but the food was really sub par. The only good thing about the dinner was the whiskey cucumber drink. First off - waitress was sweet. That's about as good as it got. The cheese platter was 3 very tiny pieces of cheese, bread sticks and hard crunchy pieces of toasted baguette, a ramekin of honey, a handful of dried cranberries, a handful of sweet crusted walnuts, some tomatoes chopped in half, a fork full of picked onion. No olives, no soft cheese, the bread was not meant for hard cheese- it's like someone said "let's do a cheese board" & nobody understood what goes into one. So, our cheese and brussel sprouts (they were ok, but SUPER SWEET & obviously not cooked fresh because they came out so fast and were not hot, almost room temperature) came out about 3 minutes after our drinks arrived. While we are eating the appetizers, like not even close to done- our meals show up. Which made me uncomfortable as we ordered the half chicken, pork chop, cat fish and lobster ravioli. Not possible to cook pork that fast, let alone chicken. The chicken- 🤢 smelled like reheated meat, was pale colored on the skin, and in no way shape or form was Herb crusted. There were no herbs, the chicken was so dry I took about 3 bites of it. (& Because we were meeting our daughters boyfriend for the first time I was not going to complain as I thought everyone else was enjoying their meal). The chicken was like warm and did I mention it was dry? The lobster ravioli my daughter got was so fishy tasting she ate two ravioli and asked me to try it. Husbands pork was tough and tasteless. Not sure about the 4th meal at he was being polite. If y'all are still with me here- while we are all just about 5 bites into the meal the waitress comes over and mentions dessert! I felt like they were trying to move us along. Normally we have a few beverages, appetizers, dinner then dessert and coffee. I didn't even want to look at the dessert options. The waitress even mentioned when picking up our plates that the chicken was pale and bland. Please do yourselves a favor and do not go here for a nice meal. We ordered 4 out of the maybe 7 options on the menu and they were so bad we went home and...

A group of eleven of us went here after bowling for my 31st birthday. It was close to the bowling alley and didn’t have much of a wait. A couple from our group had been there before for a party and had a break experience. A few of my friends had had some drinks and were a little loud so I asked the hostess to sit us outside on the front patio. The heaters were really nice! At first, our experience was excellent. We only had one waiter for our table and he had several other tables inside, so I know the poor kid was strapped. It took awhile to get our drinks initially but the waiter kept up as well as could be expected seeing as he was by himself. The manager came out and helped him a little and was very friendly and joking with our table. Then after more than an hour after ordering, we still didn’t have our food. Eventually the food started coming, but two guys at our table never got their food...one of which bought a $100 round of drinks for the table. We brought it to the manager’s attention and he pretended to go in and check on the issue. He may have, but it took another 20 minutes before he came back (still no food for my friends). I did see him multiple times stopping by to chat with a very pretty blonde lady sitting at the bar, so we saw that his priority wasn’t customer service. The manager came back by and we shared our experience again, a bit pissed at this point but the two guys were so mad they just wanted to get their checks and go. The manager offered them a to-go plate, but seeing as how we had already been there more than two hours, we just paid our checks and left. My friend and I literally went across the street to Arby’s to get him dinner before heading back to our city. I was livid. Some birthday dinner. I wouldn’t go back to this place even if it was on the house. One of the top two worst dining experiences I’ve ever had...and that includes more than 25 states and multiple...

To Bistro Owner Wade Penland this is follow-up to my previous post about the poor "server" service my son received on 10/30/24. We still live in a free country, so your taking the stance in support of your employee's is your right. However, this doesn't negate, omit, or wash our experiences. YOU were not there and the gentleman who Identified himself as a shadow trainee was the only person offering my son eye contact. There was no ill intent in my comments, only truth which was why I offered compliment to the food!!!! Trust, I would not have taken the time out of my schedule to write a Google Review had our experience been what we had grown to know from previous experiences at this restaurant! MY COMMENTS STAND!!!! I do not care of whomever experienced the courtesies of Ms. Alyssa G being YOUR Stella employee, she insulted my SON!! I watched her interactions with others and YES, while we were the only people there of color opposite of the two young ladies that were servers, I do not think that she had concerns with color but more so his appearance, as I stated. I am a educated, well traveled, and diverse professional and like you SIR I have communicable influence. No I do not care to entertain you by sending you a email, because I prefer transparency! I am a TOP Google Reviewer, and a Social Media Influencer. Your comments are a total disregarded to our experiences. The way you reverenced her is definitely not the energy my son received and to me, that is all that matters so thank you for the reassurance in that your energy toward my son had we discussed this with someone before leaving your restaurant probably would have been a waste of time. This is not the appropriate way to...

I made a reservation for two on their app and requested that there be a booth set aside for my reservation. When we got there Joni was the hostess that "assisted us" I use that term lightly because she was rude, her tone was cold, I didn't get my booth despite several being open... and me and my party did not get any silverware. It took over 10 minutes for us to meet our waitress, but once we did, Andrea was amazing. Attached is a photo of my cup that I was given to drink out of even though the rest of the restaurant had glassware. We ordered an appetizer and then about 15 minutes later Andrea came back and took our food order. Once again her service as our waitress was amazing and it seemed as though she was trying to pick up the slack of other waiters/waitress'. It shouldn't take my waitress going to the back and rolling my silverware after i get my appetizer (yes, I saw her go roll our silverware which means I wasn't the only one without). My salad tasted old and gritty, almost as if the leafy greens were not washed before the rest of the salad was prepared. Needless to say I didn't eat it. Once our meals came, we were disappointed at how under seasoned the steak was. It was cooked perfectly, but has absolutely no seasoning. My friend got the pound of crab and he stated that it was overcooked and under seasoned as well. Once we were finished our meal, we paid our bill and tipped our live musician which was amazing. (CoCo O'Connor). I will not be visiting this restaurant again because the feel of the environment and the service made me and my party feel unwelcome.

I gave the restaurant a four star. The experience was really good. Nice ambience, clean, friendly music volume and genre, beautiful lighting and tables. It is good for a family or good for a date. The waiter was friendly, a believe he was possibly still learning. However, I'm on the fence about the food. I ordered the Chef's Board with the charcuterie and was only able to eat a few things on it. The flavor pallette was not for my buds for sure. Most people would not eat any of those cheeses and I am unsure what the sauce was, but it wasn't good. The bread was great. The meat was fresh. Then I had the half a chicken in cheerwine sauce with mashed potatoes and asparagus which made up for the chef's board. It was VERY good. I would order that for take out all day long. However, I tried my daughter's macaroni and the noodles were hard, under cooked I think. And it lacked flavor. It was almost like a bland alfredo rather than mac 'n cheese. Lastly, I ordered a martini and felt it fell flat. The flavor of it was wonderful. But I certainly don't think there was alcohol in my martini. It was a very nice place and setting, a nice place to take a first date, friends visiting, or small business oriented meetings. Anything where the atmosphere is more important than the flavor of the food. I just wasn't impressed enough to come back. Not on my top 10 places for dinner right now.

First and foremost, we had a handicapped person with us and both handicapped walkways were blocked by outside tables, thus making it very difficult to get in and out. Secondly, we had reservations and when we got there the place was fairly empty (as it was early in the evening), yet we were seated at the table right next to the server station. It felt like we were crammed. The server was nice and offered good service. The manager was also nice when they came around to check on us. We ordered Fried Shrimp (appetizer), Backyard BBQ, , Fried Oysters, and Nashville Chicken Sandwich. We didn’t really want the chicken but there was nothing on the menu for our kid. We also had an Expresso Martini, Prosecco, and an IPA. The drinks were good, the oysters were delicious, and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich was also delicious. The BBQ chicken was okay. The plate that it was served on was not level and kept sliding during the entire meal. A napkin was eventually put on the table just so the meat could be cut without the plate sliding off. Lastly, we were consistently having to swat away small and large flies. I get it, it comes with the territory when you’re outside but it really shouldn’t be happening when you’re seated well within the restaurant. I feel like this restaurant has more to offer, so we will be back.
