Culver Plaza — Attraction in Irvine

As beautiful and bustling with business as I remember it. It's been a long time since I've visited it (at least 12-14 years), and when I first visited the area with family I was around 5 or 6 years old. I'm now 27 and just floored by how great it all still looks. Favorite location is the Ranch 99 since you can find basically everything you need for East Asian and Southeast Asian Ingredients there, and I know I did today on my visit. Bought Galangal, Tofu thread, MSG (which really helps boost flavor and is not as terrible as propaganda will have you believe), Chinkiang Vinegar (Black Vinegar) and a few other things. Visited the 99 Ranch Market to pick up some "Live Maine Lobster", to celebrate 🍾 our 18th wedding anniversary. So glad we did. They were running a special @$6.99 per lb. Yes that's correct. So we splurged and got 6, for $70.00. Enough for 2 different meals. The Plaza was fairly busy but the Market was perfect for enjoying some time to shop. It was the best time to be shopping around 7:30 p.m on a Friday evening. It seemed that most of the local restaurants were fairly busy which seemed appropriate for what time it was. Took our 18 months grand daughter here yesterday at 3:55 on a Sunday early evening thus the wait is not too bad, we told the hostess we have four adults plus a toddler so need a high chair, once the table set up it turned out there is only space for 4 so we wait to transfer to a space with bench seat for more room. No biggie except I didn't have lunch and the bbq fragrance was hard to bear.

Tips for any party with a toddler that need space for a high chair, instead of saying x adults and one kid, we would tell the hostess x adults + 1 instead so there should be no mixed up with seating arrangements.
