La Vita Vital Jewelry — Attraction in Irvine

I needed to have some family pearl earrings converted from clips to posts. The jeweler I had used previously does not work on pearls. He gave me a recommendation and I requested a quote via Yelp. I was not aware that Yelp would send the request for a quote to other jewelers as well. The first to respond was La Vita Vital. I liked their 5 star Yelp recommendations and what they said to me in their reply back so I went there the next day. Their store is nearby the Spectrum and parking is plentiful. I was pleasantly greeted by the receptionist, Bree, and then by jeweler Auston Baca. Auston was friendly, personable, and gave me a quote that was more than reasonable and fair. I felt confident that he could and would do what I needed and I left the earrings. A week later, I returned to the store and took with me other family heirlooms, a set of 18K gold cuff-links from my great grandfather, that I wanted to have made into earrings and a pendant. Again, Auston gave me a more than reasonable quote, and I will pick them up in another week. La Vita Vital is my go to place now when I need anything related to jewelry. There are many reasons they have scored 5 Yelp stars in each review. Do not hesitate to have them help you. You will be pleasantly surprised! I know I was! UPDATE: I returned today (4/20/19) to pick up the 18k gold earrings and pendant that Auston had made from my great-grandfather's English wedding cufflinks from 1896. I don't even know how to start off this review. Just ultimately beyond happy with their services. 1000% recommending this place to friends and family and anyone that will listen.

We came here with the recommendation of East West Gem Co; they have an office upstairs. We needed my wedding rings made fairly quickly, and East West Gem Co has a strict timeline. I wouldn't have gotten my rings before the wedding. My (now) husband also wanted to see if La Vita Vital would be able to design my dream ring with the stone I chose from East West Gem Co.

We were led downstairs to meet with Chilly and go over what we needed. We told him our timeline and what we were looking for in the ring. Showed him some pictures online of how we wanted the ring to be but with a different style and shaped stone. He told us he could make it happen, and wow, did he make it happen!

We were leaving for a 2 week vacation a few days after our initial meeting. He made sure we came back to review the CAD drawings and try on a wax mold before we left, so that everything else could be completed while we were gone. My rings were ready just a few days after we got back, and I could not be more happy with how they turned out!

Chilly gave us the best experience! I don't think we'll go elsewhere for any other jewelry needs. Not only did we love coming in, but we had a great time chatting each visit. One of my best friends is planning an engagement, and we've already been in touch with Chilly to create her dream ring.

Oops. Forgot to mention they made my husband's wedding ring as well. Came out just like he imagined. And we had La Vita Vital fix my brother's wedding band as well.

I am from Mississippi, and while in San Diego years ago for a business conference, my husband and I decided to go to La Jolla for a couple of nights. My husband bought a beautiful ring for me there in a nice shop, and as I always do, I kept the receipt with the ring's details and the store's business card with their info in case I would need it. Years later, I needed a repair on the ring, so I called the store and got the name of the designer, Al Baca. After getting in touch with him, I sent him my ring for repair and have sent two other rings over the years to him for repair, lost stones, etc. He is very professional and very nice and easy to work with. My son got married last April and, upon my advice, hired Al to design his fiancee's wedding ring, which is stunning. I recently lost a beautiful ring that my husband had custom made for my birthday 18 years ago. After sending Al a picture of the ring, and communicating through email and phone, he made my ring, which is pretty much an exact duplicate of my original one. I could not be more pleased! It is as beautiful as the first one! He was very prompt as always, and his work is impeccable! Maybe one day our paths will cross so I can meet him in person!!
